Were their beliefs heritical or not? In Trail of Bloood it seems that all that is concerned about is that they practiced Baptism and were martyered by the RCC and others. Beyond this did they practice Christian beliefs or herisies?

Any sites out there I can find out more abotu these groups on?

Here is a place you can get a small bit from a Baptist point of view.

Bro. Jackeson will let you copy it from the internet if you ask him. He is not after the money but, just trying to get the info out

Bryan, there are several sources -- both from the successionist and Separatist viewpoints -- at www.reformedreader.org (http://www.reformedreader.org)

Here is a short study of a Separatist view:

Leon McBeth and R.G. Torbet are probably the most widely read among modern Baptist historians.

rlvaughn down in the history forum could provide you with many, many resources.

Brother Bryan,

You might want to drop down to the histroy forum. There is a wealth of knowledge to be tapped in that forum.

I almost never post their, but I do read alot of what is posted there. I have learned alot from the gentlemen in the history forum.

Bryan if you go into the Archives 2002... Go to search... Access Baptist History... Type in Baptist Faith... There are many articles and referals on the different groups and their beliefs as these have been discussed before. I hope these will help you!... Bugman,

If you would, will you post your findings? I admit to being too lazy to weed through the various sources and try to figure out what is biased and what is historically accurate.

I think that the truth is somewhere between the two views.
