Matthew 7:21 refutes Unconditional Election.
Matthew 7:21, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
The condition is to do the will of God the Father. 1 John 5:9-13. -
How 2 Cor 5:19 teaches limited atonement !
Its no secret most Christians appeal to 2 Cor 5:19 as a proof text that the scripture teaches that Christ died for all men without exception, for it reads:
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Many see the word world here assumes that it means everyone without exception. However the word world here is defined in a limited sense in that it does means:

Was it Friday?
Mark 15:42, And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
The Jewish Preparation Day begins Thursday evening at sundown, and ends on the Sabbath Friday evening at sundown. -
Esau I have Loved Less
Esau I have Loved Less
This verse in Romans 9:13, is one that is much used, or rather, misused, by some of the so called "reformed", to try to “prove”, that while God LOVES only the ELECT, He actually HATES the NON-ELECT.
Not only does Paul not mean this, as is very clear in the passage, and the use of the Greek word for “hate”; but, Scripture actually shows, that God BLESSED Esau, and PROTECTED his descendants!
The Amplified Bible reads exactly what the Greek in the context is actually... -
Another look at Matthew 15:24
Matthew 15:24 NASB
But He answered and said, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
This verse is used by some to claim Christ came only to His sheep, chosen before the foundation of the world, or in other words, "Limited Atonement."
Certainly Christ was born into a Jewish family, fulfilling the prophecy that all the nations (peoples) of the world would be blessed through the seed of Abraham. And certainly, Christ's ministry and outreach was to Jewish people first.... -
Easter Malarkey
Every Easter the usual suspects post their unfounded attacks on our traditional understanding of Easter, which is Christ was crucified on Friday and was laid in the tomb before Saturday began at around sundown of Friday. Christ spent part of Friday, all of Saturday and arose just at daylight on Sunday, which using inclusive counting is three days, and is consistent with the Hebrew idiom of "3 days and 3 nights." -
Luke 22:42-44 an Easter Forum
Luke 22:
42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground
Was this prayer answered with a definitive YES My Son, was the cup removed?
Yes it was! The cup in question based on the context was answered. The cup was not the cross as... -
Jesus Christ Shed His Blood for Those in Hell
Jesus Christ Shed His Blood for Those in Hell
“But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction” 2 Peter 2:1
There are some who are very much mistaken in their “theology”, that Jesus Christ only Died for those who are ultimately saved, and will be in heaven.
This verse in 2 Peter, is very clear, that even those... -
How are the lost "drawn" to Christ?
In the Old Testament, God says he draws by "hesed" translated as lovingkindness or steadfast love. Our human response to seeing or becoming aware that God has demonstrated His love for us is to be attracted to God. Jeremiah 31:3. Clearly attraction rather than compulsion is in view in this Old Testament verse.
In the New Testament, we are drawn (attracted) by seeing or becoming aware that God demonstrated His love for us by dying for us when we were yet sinners. Romans 5:8. We love Him... -
Genuine Salvation is Forever
Q. If a man turns away from his faith will God force him to be in heaven even though he does not believe in God anymore?
A. If he CAN turn away, he will, because he has never been born again, never been saved, and never knew Christ and He never knew them who do so. He is a hog that was washed (outwardly) but still has a hog’s heart, a hog’s nature, and will revert to his wallowing in the mud of sin. They remain hogs and never were transformed into sheep.
Christ’s sheep are known of Him,...
