Treasury Secretary and Tax-Cheat-in-Chief Timothy Geithner is more dangerous than Obama, in my view.

This moron wants to seize private businesses...and worse yet, his "plan" (that's code for communism) has few specifics...letting him make up the rules as he goes.

    Check out this: http://voices.washingtonpost.com/ec...thner_new_rules_of_the_game.html?hpid=topnews

This guy is a dangerous statist. We often throw "communist" and "socialist" around as perjoratives...but this guy really fits the definition. He is dangerous, anti-freedom, unAmerican, and before it's done, will probably engage in behavior once considered unthinkable for an American leader.

But hey...we deserve him. We are stupid enough to allow a tax cheat to run the financial sector of our country. We know what he is, and what he will do...yet, we elect representatives who agree with him (or don't have the, er, "glandular support" to kick this criminal to the curb...or better yet, throw his sorry, communistic behind in a maximum security facility.

Just get ready. If you work for a big business...your company better toe the line (forget what's good for your business...do what's good for Geithner). If not...get ready for seizure. He's said so.

What a sad state we're in.

Hey, Timmy G: You know you're a sad case when your #1 cheerleader is a gay pedophile (Barney Frank).

    From Neal Boortz's site:

Don't forget April 15 is Tax Day! Be sure and pay your taxes. Someone has to pick up the tab for the Secretary of the Treasury.

What really surprises me is the amount of stupid people that support this guy!

They are turning a blind eye to the destruction of America... all because their HERO Obama likes him...

It is like Obama has a spell on people who can't see the truth.. they have believed a lie.. and destruction will follow.

    Let's see....
The Obama administration wants to take control of private companies..
Anti-abortionists and Ron Paul supporters are now on a list for Homeland security to watch .. (we are considered terrorists now)...
Obama's troops (americorps) are increasing drastically...
UN wants control of American Waters.. Obama supports it.
Next week, there will be a proposal for a new world currency.
In the headlines today, the UN is proposing a New world economy that supports the false religion of protecting mother earth...
China is increasing in strength.. and frankly owns the US.

People.. preachers were preaching "this day in history" 30 yrs ago.. they said it would come... but the liberals made fun of preachers then...

Go ahead.. laugh all the way to Hell now.. because if you can't see the fact that Christ is on his way back, you are blind.. and need him.

So far most economist seem to favor his plans for the banks to and to remove the toxic assets from the bank books to free up lending. In case you haven't noticed, the GOP leadership on the hill stopped calling for his resignation and backed off since he put forth those plans. So lets explore this subject...

The problem began in 1999 when congress and the president signed into law The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, also known as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Services Modernization Act. This act reversed legislation viewed as the cause of the great depression and allowed banking, investment and insurance underwriting services to be combined in a single company. So now AIG the insurer insures AIG the bank which invest and leads other investors to invest in AIG the failing company.

This company is so complex and so intertwined into our wallstreet economy that its collapse alone would lead to the fall of our entire economy.

What we need to do is separate this company back into individual industries like insurance, banking and investments then sell each part back to the private market. The executives of this company has proved they have no interest in righting the wrong they built when they assembled this giant toxic potential economic nuclear catastrophe waiting to happen so the only way to bring it down is to let the government take it over and disassemble the company. This is no different than the authority and process the FDIC does with banks today.

PS... We the tax payers are currently 80% owner of this company so what's the problem with taking over the last 20%?

Look up the definition of "Fascism" and get back to me. If you still agree, then I'll just thank God you didn't grow up in the 1930's.

I disagree. i think Geithner is just a puppet and O'bama rex is the puppet master. You know the one who remains hidden yet pulls the strings. I believe O'bama rex did the same thing with the so-called stimulus bill. Pelosi gave him just what he wanted but if the buffalo chips hit the fan he can always blame her.

I think you give Pelosi far too much credit but ok... and as far as his teleprompter, better safe than sorry. He wouldn't need it if there wasn't vulchers on the right laying in wait for his tongue to slip just one time. You see what happened when he made a joke about his bowling skills.

His need for a teleprompter has nothing to do with your perceived vultures. (by the way were you not one of these vultures when Bush was in office) It has to do with his lack of leadership skills, not knowing the issues, and as a result he has no ability to speak on anything because they are not based on what he actually knows or believes.

That may be true but we don't know who is behind O'bama rex. That $750 million did not come from trees.

You didn't watch his recent press conference or Internet town hall meeting if you feel he doesn't know the issues. Obama took questions and spoke extensively about a number of topics without the use of a teleprompter. In fact, he is one of few presidents who doesn't pre-screen the questions from the press. My understanding is, when you hear them ask their question, it is the first time he's heard it also.

And the vultures are definitely not perceived, they are as real as Obama's teleprompter...

Now I don't recall ever waiting on Bush to make a gaff, I know the president is human so it prone to make mistakes. Bush was lousy at his job. He had all but given up at the end and now it seems Cheney was really in charge. My biggest gripe against Bush is the Iraq war.

And how easy is it to have answer people standing over your shoulder while you answer questions on the internet. I wasn't born yesterday.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I agree with OR. You guys are giving Pelosi far more credit than she is capable of. She and Barney are a joke looking for a laugh.
