Marxists Dems want a relationship with Marxist Dictator

    ...........The delegation that traveled to Cuba featured six members of the Congressional Black Caucus and Rep. Mike Honda, D-Calif., and they returned to Washington late Tuesday afternoon and urged the United States government to begin steps to alter its relationship with Cuba..........


    ..........Tuesday afternoon, the Cuban government released a statement that it indicated was Fidel Castro's assessment of a session he had with the lawmakers. In the statement, Castro said that one of the Members of Congress told him that the United States should "apologize" to Cuba. And another lawmaker told the former leader that despite the victory by President Obama, U.S. society is still "racist."

    All members of the delegation denied that those two exchanges took place during their time with Fidel Castro...........

    So Democrat Politicians want to build a relationship with a communist dictator. So who is surprised by this? Marxists want to hang out with Marxists. Go figure.

    So you believe the word of a know liar like Fidel Castro over that of American leaders, just because they are Democrats? Looks like YOU are the believer in Castro. Congrats Mitch...you have officially reached a new low.

    You seem to be lost. Dems went to Cuba and said:


    Or maybe you are not actually lost but wanted disparately to have an argument but had none. So you ignore the fact that your beloved party wants a relationship with this known liar and dictator who is a Marxist.

    Now I never said I believed either party nor did I imply anything close. Add to that I posted comments of both sides without commentary on it at all. So now you have falsely accused me of both taking a position I never took and taking on a "new low".

    So even your attempt at a redirection was both failed and inappropriate.

    Both you and I know I was referring to the Castro statement in your original post, which the Congressional delegation denied.

    As to the rest of the quotes, I would say they are fairly accurate. The US has not engaged Cuba, and its policy of ignoring a neighboring state is an abject failure.

    I never took a position on the statement. That is my point. You falsely accused me of believing one or the other and then accused me of a "new low". You were wrong and I believe intentionally malicious. And my further point was that you ignored the rest. And it doesn't surprise me that you also want the US to have a relationship with a Marxist dictator.

    No false accusation at all. Just look at how you titled this thread. An honest title would be "Congressional Delegation meets with former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro". Typical spin and lies.

    And I absolutely believe it is time we rethink the failed embargo of a nation with which we share a narrow maritime strait.

    I'm not real sure how I feel about normalizing relations with Cuba. On one hand I don't like the ideal of the United States in a round about way supporting a Communist Regime.. But it is pretty hypocritical to play ball with China and others, with as bad if not worse human rights records, but snub our nose at Cuba.

    As for who to believe in the exchange? It doesn't matter, they are all politicians and (IMO) are discredited because of it. (And no I'm not saying that because they are Dems, Reps are just as big a joke, what this country really needs is to kick out the whole kit n kaboodle Dems & Reps next election.)

    You accused me of believing Fidel Castro. Prove it , otherwise you made a false accusation because you did not like the title of the thread. It is that simple.
