Curious as to anyone's thoughts on what constitutes being naked or what is proper/improper public attire?
What about in regions where the temperature is very hot. I live in the Philippines and I very often see men going shirtless. Is this understandable given the climate here or do you believe it is sill wrong?
What about people who exercise? Is it OK for a man to go shirtless when swimming or when he jogs?

    Thank you

I do think that some of it is cultural. In some cultures, showing a face on a woman would be immodest. In other cultures, nothing counts and offensive.

Personally, I prefer for girls/women to wear longer shorts (atleast mid-thigh), skirts at the knee or lower, shirts that cover cleavage and bra straps and full belly covered. I also don't like skin tight clothing at all. I don't like heavy make-up because it looks so gross to me, but natural makeup - or heavier make-up for evening - looks nice. :)

But for some, what I feel is necessary is not enough coverage. But then again, I live in a beach/water/boating neighborhood. My standards are much stricter than many in the area. LOL

Depends on one's tastes and culture. There are some things that I don't do in regards to dress based on my preferences.

um...I think someone in the back just asked for some, um, examples and for a committee on modesty to be formed in order to survey the, um, examples...lol ;)

oh, wait we're primarily talking about men? Uh, nevermind, disregard!:tonofbricks:

I don't have problems with shirtless men. Of course some, um, body types might be more condusive to keeping the shirt on...I'm just sayin'

Sure. I'm not sure how useful a tunic would be for any of these.
