Here is a bipartisan company with a true entrepreneur spirit. First the guy is making a killing selling pro Obama stuff when he seizes the opportunity to sell tea party items.

I believe it's also a sad reflection of America when "Spitzer 'Client 9'" sex scandal" items were the previous best sellers...

    I agree...

I like a guy who chooses money over Republican or Democrat.

Now that's a "REAL AMERICAN" and the epitome of the entrepreneur spirit...:thumbs:

Yeah...and tons of "funny" shirts with disgusting sexual jokes on them as well. Sounds like a guy that will do whatever to make a buck. Sorry, that's not a real American to me. A real American has some morals and decency and displays those values even in his business.

You want to talk about a real American entrepreneur, let's talk S. Truett Cathy!

Agreed...but I was talking about (and I think he was) this company Zazzle. CafePress is basically a place where individuals (or companies) can design and sell their own t-shirts. This Zazzle is a tshirt company all on it's own. Both have plenty of trash. CafePress just let's people make any trash they want and Zazzle makes it themselves.

No, all I know about this company is what was in the article. This is the first I've heard of them. Like I said in my OP, it shows the mindset of America when "sex scandal" shirt were previously their number one seller.

So we can blame the company for making them, but they would stop if there was no one consuming the vulgar trash.

By this line of thinking, it's ok for a company to cater to the lowest morals and values in a society, since someone will buy it? Would it be ok for a company to sell tshirts promoting beasiality, pedophelia, and incest since there are people that will buy it? A businessman or company can't use the excuse that people are buying products to throw their values out the window. We as Christians need to let these companys know that we won't stand for it and refuse to purchase any of their products.

Though you have twisted what I said the answer according to our current society is yes. However, my point was more not to just blame the person making the shirt, also fault the ones consuming the shirts. I think they all share equal guilt in this situation.

Don't be absurd, I in no way said this.

I see it differently, I believe we as Christians should focus on bringing the lost to Christ so that a company like this won't have anyone to consume their goods. Then we should witness to the businesses owners with hopes they will come to Christ and devote their resources to saving the lost and lifting the kingdom of God.

I agree with the consumers have just as much fault.

I don't agree that a company should sell vulgar items just because someone will buy it. I can't even believe that you are saying that you believe it's ok for a company to do so.

I never implied that you said that. I was asking a question. But, based upon your other answer, why do you have a problem with it? You just stated that you don't have a problem with a company catering to the lowest morals in society.

I agree. Our first priority is to share the Gospel with the lost. Taht doesn't mean though that we should just let sin run rampant around us with the hope that everyone gets saved. We should also stand up for what's right and one way we can do that is to boycott companys that promote evil.

zazzle is like cafepress - people design their own products and sell them to whoever wants to buy them.

I had an opportunity to purchase Brother Cathy's "Success" books some time ago--------------I pulled in to a Chick-Fil-A in Jackson, MS and the books were on display for sale-------I broused through one while my wife ordered our sandwiches-------and I said to myself, "Blackbird!!!! You ought to buy this book!!!!" but I didn't and now I can't find the book anywhere

And would those morals include opposing the slaughter of unborn or just born children?

I agree with you about Cathy. I believe LeTourneau was of the same spirit.

I believe it came from post #13. I assume a real American Christian would think the slaughter of the unborn and just born would be a moral issue. Don't you think so?

What does this have to do with whether you know something to be true or assume it to be true?

Personally, I know that abortion is murder and that a real American (regardless whether they are Christian or not) will know the same.

    Matt

You know where I stand on abortion, I have made that abundantly clear in everything I have posted regarding abortion and those who support it.

I am not going to quibble with you over words any more. I try not to quibble but to be as direct as possible though I realize I have engaged in quibbling with you in this particular incidence.

I also realized that if I addressed this issue as I would like to I would probably be excluded from the Forum because I would question some persons salvation.

    Does that make you happy?
