Would it be wrong for me to enter a male "beauty" contest?

Is it a sin to enter such a contest? I think I have a good chance of winning it. Even though all of the other contestants will most probably be younger than me (I'm 39) I am in excellent shape. I run, weightlift and swim like a total maniac. It's awesome!
Looking for some Christian input on this...
    Thanks
    Olivencia

Well, I can't speak for you or anyone else, but I'm fairly sure that if I were to enter any 'beauty' or 'body-building' contest the various reactions would be something like these -

And those are just the ones from the judges!

The only male only beauty pageants I have seen were comedies.

If you are in it to win.. hmmm.

Mrs PJ did the pageant thing during her formative years in high school and college.

I don't have a problem with it. It provides an amazing platform for many opportunities.

"Whether therefore ye eat or drink or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."

    I would ask myself:
    1. Would it glorify God, or self?
    2. Would it help or harm my Christian testimony?
    3. Would it bring others to Christ or turn them away?
    4. What is my purpose in doing this?
    5. Has God given me a peace that it's his will I do this?
    6. Could I spend my time, energy, and efforts in a better way?

Only you know the answers to those questions.

just my opinion, but I'm not sure strutting showing off good looks or body building is godly behavior. if christian women did this there'd be no question it's wrong, so why is it even in question if ANY christian does it, we should know right away it's wrong.

    Wrong? Perhaps not.

    Embarrassing? Without question.

    Tending towards pride? Without question.

Would your answer be the same if the person asking the question were a female?

    What would be the purpose?

I have to say that if my husband wanted to compete in a beauty pageant, I would probably look at him sideways!

The purpose would be to win because the winner receives 4000 pesos (about 82 dollars).
Now I am not muscle bound which I think some of the contestants are. I am very toned. It might help also that I am a white guy and the chicks really dig the white guys in the Philippines. It just so happens that in the town I am in there are hardly any other foreigners so much chances look pretty good. I am not saying I am a shoe in to win but an extra 82 bucks would help.

I have decided not to enter any, personally.

I don't have any heels to match my bikini.

If you'd read my quote, you'd know my answer would be
    YES!
    and I did specify that.
    it's wrong whoever does it.
