When I was a teenager an elderly man, a neighbor, told me he work loading ships in 1918. One day about noon the man working with him said, "I don't feel good. I think I've got the flu." He was dead before noon the next day.

 

This is a very good question.

I think you see the proliferation of online services for a time. Really this is the ideal. Probably provide as much connection through the internet as possible. Cancel all immediate activities outside of a meeting once or twice a month.

At the meeting everyone wears masks, plenty Purex is available, precautions are taken. We work with local officials to ensure protocols work. I guess that might work.

As for ministering to our community. I would recommend going into the under priviledged parts and giving away products to protect against the spread. Setting up free clinics and working with hospitals to provide care for those who need it.

Literally becoming the Church again like the first Christians practiced. They went into the slums and ghetto when the plague hit them hard. They ministered when the secular leaders left.

Finances, meh, what we truly need will be provided. Maybe we staffers will have to get real jobs...

Other than that, maybe its a good starting point. I dunno...looking to learn from others.
