Comeienne makes horrible jokes, Obama laughs

Anyone who says they want their country to fail, as Rush did, certainly is not a patriot.

 

Rush did not say that he wanted his country to fail -- only many of Obama's policies which he feels only harm the nation.

What's your opinion of the many people who wished Bush #43 would fail? Were they being unpatriotic?

 

Anyone who lies is not a patriot either. You know full well that isn't what Rush said. The exact quote of what he said is:

How is that anything like saying he wants the country to fail? I also want Obama to fail. I do not want more pro-abortion legislation to pass. I do not want more socialist legislation to pass. I want Obama's stated goals to fail.

 

A horrible remark, indeed (and I'm no Limbaugh fan).

 

The hatred of some for Rush is exceeded only by their hatred of Bush. :thumbs:

 

The adoration of some on this Christian Forum for a devout baby killer is nauseating. I suppose "head and ears obama" would laugh if he saw killer diller perform one of his live birth abortions.

Not funny: Barack Obama laughs at Wanda Sykes "joke" about wanting Rush Limbaugh dead

I was at the dinner and I began by laughing at Sykes's gentle teases about the press loving Obama so much they never capture him on film smoking but often seem to get him on the beach.

It was amusing when she quipped that Obama trying so hard to be all things to all men that the next thing is he'll be seen mowing the White House lawn.

But the speech took a very ugly turn when she laid into Limbaugh.

This is what she said: "Rush Limbaugh said he hopes this administration fails, so you're saying, 'I hope America fails', you're, like, 'I dont care about people losing their homes, their jobs, our soldiers in Iraq'. He just wants the country to fail. To me, that's treason.

"He's not saying anything differently than what Osama bin Laden is saying. You know, you might want to look into this, sir, because I think Rush Limbaugh was the 20th hijacker. But he was just so strung out on OxyContin he missed his flight."

She then concluded: "Rush Limbaugh, I hope the country fails, I hope his kidneys fail, how about that? He needs a good waterboarding, that's what he needs." Obama seemed to think this bit was pretty hilarious, grinning and chuckling and turning to share the "joke" with the person sitting on his right.

You are either sadly mistaken or deliberately misrepresenting what Rush said. I have said the same thing on this Forum. I do not want obama to succeed in establishing a Fascist government in this country. I believe that is the patriotic postition. Anyone that wants obama to succeed in his goals is the one who lacks patriotism.

Why are some Christians so willing to not only believe a lie but to repeat it?

 

The one joke I found very offensive was the joke that she made about Sarah Palin. I won't repeat it, but it was in very bad taste.

 

He laughed at that one, too. As well as the joke about his bad side being his white side. Sykes, being openly gay, is not going to lecture me on any moral issues, like who should be waterboarded, and who's kidneys should fail. I have fought for racial equality my whole life so she can make her hateful remarks ? And don't even try to tell me she's taken out of context, or we misunderstand her words.

I have decided that Obama is a despicable person, with absolutely no class at all. I hate everything he stands for.
