He may be the most mysterious and secretive president in American history.

Though inexperienced and arguably unqualified for the presidency, he mesmerized the entire establishment press and more than half of voters, many regarding him nothing short of a political messiah. Though he can barely speak publicly without a teleprompter, he's praised as a transcendent communicator. Though his voting record is extreme left, he portrays himself as a pragmatic centrist.

But beyond Obama's political ideology, many Americans are troubled also by his strange personality attributes: He greatly exaggerates his achievements, expects constant praise and admiration, believes he's special, doesn't appear to concern himself with other people's feelings, expresses disdain for those he feels are inferior, sets unrealistic goals, appears as tough-minded and unemotional, and other qualities – all of which are textbook symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

    This is Funny

==I would disagree with that. There are far more interesting and secretive presidents in our history. However I suppose that is a matter of opinion and not fact.

Of course many liberals would say that GW Bush was the most mysterious and secretive president in American history.

==As I look at the United States Constitution, the law of our land, there are several requirements for a person who wishes to be President. They are as follows.

    1. Natural born citizen.
    2. Must be at least 35 years old.
    3. Must have lived in the United States for 14 years.

Mr. Obama meets each one of those qualifications. He was also duly elected to the Presidency by the American people and the electoral college. Therefore he is qualified to be the President of the United States.

True, he is not the most experienced man as far as government is concerned. However that is not a qualification. Most of the congressmen/women in DC are not experienced enough to do what they do. However they meet the Constitutional qualifications, they are elected, and that means they are qualified.

I did not, would not, and will not, vote for or support Obama. However he is President of the United States by the law of the land. So saying he is unqualified is sort of pointless.

==The same was said about Bill Clinton in '92. Anyone who views Obama, or any other politician, as a "political messiah" is dangerously ignorant.

==Considering that all presidents use telprompters, and some not very well, I don't see the point of this criticism. In fact I believe this is the type of criticism that is leveled against someone by weak opponents. We can do better than this. President Obama's policies on abortion, taxes, the role of government, and more, are a moral, constitutional, and national disaster (as were Bush's). I think we have bigger fish to fry than his reading off telepromters.

==You just described most of our recent presidents and the vast majority of lawmakers in DC. So I guess we could say that Obama fits right in with the rest of the ego maniacs up there.

Interesting. Isn't it a reasonable conclusion to assume that, if you posted an article, you agree with it?

Your logic is irrational and perhaps similar to those who voted for obama. Using your logic anyone meeting the above requirements is qualified to be president; that is asinine!

==Well, those are the three requirements laid out by the Constitution of the United States of America (Art 2 Sec 1). If abiding by the Constitution is "asinine" in this day and age then color me asinine . President Obama meets those three qualifications and a bit more (JD from Harvard Law School, Professor of Constitutional Law @ The University of Chicago Law School, State senator, US Senator, etc). If we look at the years we see that he has had very little experience in government. Now those statements have nothing to do with his positions or his stance on the issues, only the technical qualifications. If we examine him on the issues, his presidency is predestined to be a disaster.

There is not much doubt the the zero has a personality disorder.

He is incredibly arrogant, a huge liar, and imperious to those who have the temerity to challenge him.

I believe the article describes him pretty well.

First obama is ignoring the Constitution. Like most leftists he is a congenital liar. The implication of your earlier post implied that because he met the technical qualifications he was intellectually, politically, and philosophically qualified to be president.

==I'm not sure how Obama's ignoring the Constitution is any worse than Bush's. Ignoring or contradicting the Constitution is never a good thing. Both Bush and Obama have done it.

==Like most Republicans and Democrats in Washington DC he is a liar. The left hardly has a monopoly on dishonestly in DC.

==Maybe you should go back and read what I actually said. I laid out the three qualifications from the Constitution and pointed out that Obama meets each of them. If you think I implied more than that you misread what I wrote.

It's your opinion that Obama meets the Constitutional requirements. Being he has not shown credible proof of citizenship (original Birth Certificate), his constitutionality is debatable as has been discussed many times on this forum. His own grandmother states he was born in Kenya and was there at his birth. He was elected as imposter in chief IMO.

==That is a tired, worn out, discredited theory for people who refuse to accept that Obama was elected. As Christians, and conservatives, we should hold ourselves to a higher standard than that. If Obama was born in Kenya, as you claim, it is strange how a Honolulu newspaper ran a birth announcement on August 4, 1961 (Obama's birth date). It has also been proven that his birth certificate matches others from Honolulu at that period of time. The Health Department in the State of Hawaii has also verified that Obama was born in their state. The paper trail does not lie and it is very clear. We can believe the paper trail or we can continue believing theories put out by partisan hacks who are only interested in pushing their political agenda (be it good, bad, or indifferent).

Btw, just to refute any accusations that might be made, I am NOT a supporter of Obama. I did not and I will not vote for him. What I am, however, is a supporter of FACTS.

Believe snopes if you want to. (And where do you think they got their information? Probably FastCheck which is in Obama's pocket & has been proved on this forum before.) Nah, I believe Obama's grandmother, as a grandmother myself, and so do others.

Obama could settle that argument in a heartbeat.

He steadfastly refuses to release his birth certificate.

Just as he refuses to release his collegiate record. He's the first president ever to do so.

It all begs the question...what is he hiding?

==I don't believe snopes, I believe the paper trail. The newspaper report settles the issue for anyone interested in the truth.

==Go ahead and deny the clear facts, you only discredit yourself.

==As stated, a copy of his birth certificate has been released and the state of Hawaii has verified that he was born there. Why is further evidence needed? This is a conspiracy tabloidish story being pushed by people in the Republican party, and other professing conservatives, who don't want to deal with the fact that they (we) lost the election. The Democrats did the same in 2000 & 2004. It is time we stop pretending that these issues are up for debate and move on to things that matter like opposing Mr. Obama's plans on abortion, taxes, and the size/scope of government. Obama was born in the United States of America and he has been elected President of the United States. Continuing to deny the obvious accomplishes nothing good.

==That a person has a degree (BA, BS, MA, MS, MDiv, EdD, PhD, etc) from an accredited is all that really matters since universities have standards that students must maintain a certain GPA in order to graduate with a degree. Obama graduated with an undergraduate degree from Columbia University (BA) and he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University School of Law (JD). Why some want more information is beyond me, unless they are just snooping for dirt. BTW, such snooping through people's past is one reason decent people stay out of politics.

I may disagree with the vast majority of President Obama's positions, and I may have disagreed with many of President Bush's positions, but I am still determined to stand up for the facts. Just because Obama's positions are wrong does not give us the right to ignore the facts about his place of birth and schooling.

Not that strange at all. It is a simple matter to call a local newspaper to let them know about a birth, engagement, graduation, marriage, death, etc. to let your neighbors know about a particular event. Your little newspaper clipping doesn't show the city or hospital where the birth took place - simply the names of the parents.

It would have taken nothing more than a phone call from a friend or family member to have the announcement posted.
