    I'll probably be able to watch some of the beginning, then go to church and get home for the end. BTW, if anybody will be looking for a recap of this race, I won't have one.

    More proof that NASCAR is a ridiculous joke: what sport just stops in the middle like that?

    Don't get me wrong, I believe we should honor our veterans, but you'll never hear "McNabb drops back and gives the ball to Westbrook! Westbrook finds a hole and he's out to the twenty...the twenty-five...the thirty...the thirty-five...Oh, Westbrook is still on his feet but the officials have blown the whistle and called the play dead so that we can stop to honor our veterans."

    What sport does that?

    JDF, this is small potatoes when you want to talk about Nascar being a joke. :smilewinkgrin:

    I don't know why they did it either. It's not like they didn't honor any military people before the race started.

    No, watching cars run around an oval for hours is about as boring as watching a fishing program on TV ... IMHO.
