I hope you're proud of yourselves. Your "man" is killing our auto industry, and with it, our entrepreneurs...the backbone of our economy.

Yeah, I think Obama said something to the effect of "spreading the wealth".

I don't see how it is the President's fault that Chrysler mismanaged itself into this situation. It didn't get into this mess in the last 4 months. It has been a long time coming, and was a house of cards to begin with.

Its not President Obama's fault for Chysler & GM going belly up. Its Obama's fault for taking over the auto industry. Obama should have decided to let them go into bankruptcy without trying to intervene. I also place part of the blame on the auto companies too. If they had managed their funds properly, they wouldn't have to file for bankruptcy.

They should have endured the hardship, laid people off if necessary, & recover at a later time.

That may be so, but that would not have saved the dealer in the OP.

What do you know about the financial condition of that particular dealership?

In fact many of the dealerships being forced out of business by the Obama car czar are profitable.

If a dealership is not making money they are free to go out of business on their own.

Theres a dealship near here, very profitable, one of the biggest names in new cars around, they are being forced to close. why? they pay for their cars, pay everything, the manufacturer pays nothing, plus they are currently still selling cars, successfully.

Don't you know MP, that everything bad that happens is always President Obama's fault?

Too many seem to " despise governments," which is something the Bible warns about.

Nobody here that I know of despises governments. What we despise is the elected government going against the Constitution of these United States and over reaching the power granted to them by that Constitution. Your statement is untrue about the members on this forum and is a false witness against them.

Actually, I despise big government. I love small government. "The Obamanation" in the White House is doing his best to ensure the the federal government intrudes into our everyday lives. He's already got the banks & part of the auto industry. I have to wonder what's next?

I agree with the opening post 100%. Obama is wrecking the economy. What I do not agree with is the blame. The reason Obama was elected was George Bush and his inept, liberal administration did not do their job for the last eight years. The conservatives that supported him did not hold his feet to the fire. Do you think there would have been any chance of a flaming liberal like Obama being elected if Bush had governed as a conservative? Ask it this way. Would Obama have been elected following a Reagan or even a Nixon administration? No, and why, because they governed as conservatives, and conservatives are the only ones that have positive ideas to grow the economy without government aid, to keep taxes low, shrink government, and have a strong national defense. Bush did none of this. We reap what we sow.

I am surprised that a conservative will admit that President Nixon's wage and price controls are a part of conservative ideology.

    I am. I am. :)

I would give President Obama a grade of 85 out of a 100 for his first four months in office.
