We always hear that the job of the Supreme Court is to interrupt the law.

Where does the Constitution give that as a duty?

Hint - the courts are addressed in Article III

Sola Constitution is as goofy as sola scriptura. If a theoretically perfect document like the NT could generate over 100 Christian denominations i.e. interpretations, how many denominations might the imperfect Constitution generate? It must be a miracle from God that there are only a dozen or so American denominations (political parties).

Forget politics for a second. You've decided to spout more heretical garbage.

Well, let's see...you don't believe Scripture, Creation is a myth, God made mistakes when He "made" the world...

I'm trying to figure out exactly what foundations of the Christian faith you actually believe.

Best I can tell, not much at all.

Maybe you should spend some time asking God to show you the truth. Apparently you've either missed it, or rejected it.

The OT is the foundation of Christianity. The NT is meaningless without the OT. The Gospels particularly Jesus' teachings. The rest of the NT is commentary. The ecumenical creeds defined basic Christianity for a thousand or so years. A person who accepted the ecumenical creeds as truth was included in the Christian faith.

at one time, back in the day, when you could count on this being a christian board, those spouting obvious heresy were banned. not so now, now it's all about the $, nothing else even the belief in scripture.

My point was that you all are no happier with the Supremes interpreting the Constitution than you all are with other denominations interpreting the Bible. There must be some point of commonality between the two documents. Me, I have no complaint against either document. You all are the ones with the complaints. All I do is make observations about your complaints and you all become unhappy. All I want is for you all to be consistent in your thinking.

There is nothing consistent with comparing the Constitution with Scripture. Your comparison is loose at best and out and left field at worst.
