Our illustrious King & Tyrant is so proud of himself, he just can't stand it. Of course, when you're the best leader in the history of the world, why bother with humility? It's Obama's responsibility to remind us how lucky we are to have him.

    http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/obama-in-l.a.-confident-but-not-yet-content-2009-05-27.html

    from the article:

I'm surprised Obama didn't brag about the time he walked across a lake to heal an injured swan.

I wonder...after our economy is wrecked, and after people finally get tired of their freedoms and money being eroded...I wonder if Obama continue to brag like Muhammad Ali with a buzz.

As to the thread title, unfortunately, I believe you are correct. :tear:

It's one thing to say, "I'm proud of what we have done in the past 4 months."

But it's quite another thing to say, "This administration is better than anything you've seen since FDR."

It's likely that sometime this year, there will be a federal law requiring us to capitalize pronouns when referring to Obama. An addendum to the law also asks that one day a week, we pause and reflect on the goodness of the greatest president in history.

rbell, I know you must be saying this with tongue in cheek. Such honor must wait until I become President. :tonofbricks:

What's even more scary to me, is the fact that so many (as this board so abundantly exhibits) are so enamored of the "0", that if he declared chocolate illegal, they would join his army to empty the stores of the "evil product" with nary a hesitation or question!

I used to wonder how the Anti-Christ would be capable of securing such a vast committed following for his evil agenda, but after seeing the blind adoration of the "0", I can see that the general public is so vulnerable to deception that he (a/c) will have a cake walk in his eventual take-over coup!

It was only a week or so ago when he said the country was broke, and he did this in only 4 months. This guy is a real whiz, wizard, whats-his-name, or whatever.

What a ridiculous post. I have not seen any "adoration" of the President. I have seen folks who agree with some of his policies excoriated by those for whom the man can do nothing right. He could save your mama from a house fire and you'd say he was interjecting big government, because where in the Constitution is it the President's role to save her.

When they outlaw chocolate, only outlaws will have chocolate.

That's because you're using the wrong language. Remember...in latin:

    Pope Magnus Polus I.
See...that ain't so bad. And just think...all your posts would be infallible.

The mods could take some time off.

    :D

Hmmm.. So Obama says is comparing his administration to the administration during the great depression!... that's funny.

I wonder if he's already thinking how to manipulate things to get a 3rd and 4th term. Or how he will get by WW III still having a bunch of peasants to rule.

    Which is it?

Is he King? Is he the Messiah?

We know he's no mere mortal, but which is it?

Do you have anything meaningful to say? Of course he is mortal...but may be "smarter than the average bear" to quote Yogi!
