Killed by a "pro lifer" no doubt?

Of course the lunatic fringe of Christianity seems to be centered in Wichita. That is where Dennis Rader, teacher of Sunday School and Boy Scout leader (and Bind, Torture, Kill murderer) operated.

Another murderous thug going to Hell..

Some innocent Babies may be safe now...

Sorry if that seems hateful, but if a person devotes his or her life to killing others, I have a hard time weeping for that person.

Let's pray that he had time to repent for the murders he caused before he died.

Hmmm...where did Jesus by word or deep tell us to murder those we disagree with? Funny, I thought there was a do not murder commandment. Guess. not. Must be okay to take the law into our own hand. Never knew anarchy was an American value.

However it is Kansas...not surprising. Not only do they have BTK, but also the inbred Phelps clan. The OKC bomber also did his prep work in Kansas.

Remind me to avoid the place.

Well, it appears to be a case of "He who lives by the sword dies by the sword."

Does someone who openly and notoriously violently slaughters innocent babes for a living really expect to die a peaceful death in their bed at a ripe old age?

Surely does not seem very pro-life to murder someone ... even if you do think they are evil. Wonder what proof-text they would use to justify the murder?

I guess the term "bleeding Kansas" takes on a whole new definition with this event.

It is a tragedy with no biblical justification.

However, it is hard to tell why pro-choice people care. If life is something to be dispensed with when it is inconvenient for those around, murder shouldn't matter. The outrage over this is justified, and hypocritical. It shows the moral bankruptcy of those who are pro-choice.

If someone was trying to kill a little kid next door, would you try to stop them, even if it meant to kill the perpetrator?

I would. And it would not be a sin. I would be protecting the innocent.

This guy was very open about performing late term abortions.. He was an outspoken proponent for murder. HE apparently loved his job of murdering kids...

And you sad, sad Christians mourn for this trash more than you do for the INNOCENT lives he destroyed.

This guy had a choice.. He chose death. And it is poetic Justice that a bullet took him out by hitting him in the head.. after he jabbed scissors into innocent baby's heads...

If the government would do it's job and protect our innocent babies by putting to death scum like this, then today's scenario would never happen.

I am saddened by any death. We, as Christians, are not to be the executioner of a person. We are to love and witness to them, tell them of Christ and what Christ has done for them ... we are not to murder them.

We are not to be pro-life for some and pro-death for others. This is not what God calls us to do.

I am saddened by any death too.. because sin is behind death...

I do mourn for this guy's family, and honestly hope that he repented from his horrendous crimes against society and asked God to save him, before his death.

I also believe the person that shot him, should be punished to the fullest extent.
I also hope that person comes to know Jesus as Savior.

The person that shot this Doctor of death will also answer to the God of all life. He will suffer His righteous judgment. Our wrangling over who is the better person for Hell is up to Him.

So I am hearing that you would not kill someone to save a child's life.. instead, while that person was killing the child you would just witness to them...

No one is suggesting this, are they? Pro-life means pro-life. It means we protect life, by killing those who kill if necessary. God said that the way we honor the image of God in man is by killing those who stamp it out. It is just retribution. However, it is the responsibility of the government, not some vigilante in a church service.

A society that is pro-life has to practice capital punishment as a way to protect life and show the value of life.

It's interesting that people on the streets know this. Around where I live, if you kill someone, there will be someone coming after you to kill you. Why? Because they understand the issue, though they have no theological basis for it. What is interesting is that those who should know God the best don't get this.

They think life is something to be frittered away.

But why was this guy in church anyway? It speaks volumes of hypocrisy that a guy who spends Monday-Friday stamping out the image of God then tries to salve his conscience by going to church on Sunday.

    True words.

Which causes me to wonder why you would then vote for a politician that promised to secure more abortions with our tax money and then promptly upon gaining office did just exactly that.

Save your hypocrisy for someone who doesn't already know you.

I've explained in detail before why nothing will really change concerning abortion. So, it is a non-item in deciding who to vote for. Other issues have to be taken into consideration. And, the final blow for me was McCain's picking Palin ... not that she was a woman, but that she was, to me a terrible candidate.

    Ahhh... yes... rationalization...

I can understand why it is necessary for you to seek refuge there.

But something did change concerning abortion with the election of Obama...

    He increased funding for it.

    He funded abortions overseas.

So your rationalization turns out to be no refuge at all.

    How sad for you.

The question I had when I heard the news is how could any Christian Church allow this person, who lived to slaughter the unborn, to be among them. I do not mourn the death of any abortionists. I feel for his family if he had one. I also feel for the person who killed Tiller and for his family.

It is easier for me to understand how someone could kill an abortionist than it is for me to understand how a doctor, trained to preserve life, could slaughter the unborn child, over and over and over. :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

    I had this same thought.

He was obviously unrepentant where it comes to that particular sin.

Where was the church discernment and discipline?

It really isn't rationalization, it is reality. Yes, he increased funding. Do I like this? No. I expect in time another president will stop the funding. However, this will not stop abortions nor will it make them illegal. So, for the most part it is a minor issue as the Supreme Court has ruled on it several times. It is unlikely that in my, or your, lifetime this will change. So, I have to look at other issues and make my selection of a candidate on those issues.

I do not like abortion. My fear was that if Palin became president, as could well happen since McCain is over 70, that she would completely destroy the country ... not that she would mean to, but I saw and see her as completely unfit for the job of president. That may or may not have happened, but it was my concern.
