What projection software do you use at your church if you use it? We had been using PCs with SundayPlus for years and it wasn't the best around but it's what we had to work with. After a great little video really hiccupped twice in the service on Mother's Day, we were given the OK to finally get 3 Macs for the church. DH bought 3 refurbished iMacs and I'm on one now to learn the new software - ProPresenter. What a difference!! I just put together the graphics for the special music for Father's Day and I'm not just using one video but 4 along with a bunch of stills. It's going to be GREAT!!

So I'd love to hear what you guys use/have for your setup! Oh and where do you get your graphics? I get a lot of mine from Church Media since it's just such a fantastic resource of all sorts of media specifically made for churches.

Do you find PP cumbersome? Can you jump between slides if the team decides to do the first verse again or whatever? I've use PP but not for songs and stuff - just usually presentations for sermons.

There is no problem to jump between the slides. THe key to do it might be a on / off switch, so that we can switch of the screen for a half second when finding a slide a few slides away.

But it might be that there is better software.

OK - I set up Sunday's service with the ProPresenter and it ROCKS. Of course it took me 3 days to set up the service but once we're up and running for a few weeks, I know it's going to be FAST to get it done. What's nice is to pop in video clips and it runs SEEMLESSLY! LOVE it!

You can go to the www.renewedvision.com website and check it out.

Here's the direct link to info on it: http://www.renewedvision.com/pp.php

Here's the link to their tutorials if you want to see more of what they can do. I watched these to get my initial training for the program. I first watched them last week and I set up a special music show with videos and stills, the songs and all of the announcements over the last few days. Of course there's a learning curve but I can see that this will take me just about an hour in the future to set it all up. VERY cool.
