Why should he? So conservatives can criticize him more - which is about all that conservatives do anymore politically...except for Joe Scarborough and his new book.

I hope he doesn't talk to him anymore. Let the racist Rev. Wright scream all the nonsensical lunacy that he wants to - for or against the president, but Obama needs to steer clear and stay clear from him.

He needs to avoid him like the plague.

Is that all you've got, brother, honestly. That's it? :flower:

Let me tell you a story and a pot and a kettle..... :tongue3:

Oh, come Scarlett, give Ken a break.

He's due for another flip-flop. He'll be a conservative in a few more posts.

Either that, or promise not to post again....again.....

It looks like this would be good news, especially to the right-wing who was so concerned that President Obama would use men like Wright as advisers.

I thought it was strange that he was Obama's pastor for over 20 years & he had no clue that Reverend Wright is a hate-spewing preacher who hates whites & Jews. Its not funny, but in a way it is.

I would much rather see Obama hanging around Reverend Wright than to be hanging around Chavez, Ahmadinejad, Castro, or even Il. I can't even bear the thought of all five of them becoming friends. That would be like the new "Axis of Evil". The least Obama could do is talk to them man that helped elect him.

Some conservatives make such silly statements sometimes. President Obama is not "hanging around" Chavez, Ahmadinejad, Castro, or Il.

Is BigBossman wrong in making that statement? You betcha.

I didn't say that he was hanging around them. I did say that I would much rather see him hang out with Rev. Wright than to hang out with them.

For the record, Obama has been around with Hugo Chavez & Fidel's brother. While he hasn't hung around Kim Jong Il & Ahmadinejad. I can see that happening. That's why he sent a soft-spoken message Ahmadinejad to "open a dialogue" & I'm sure that's why we haven't heard him talk much about Il's test firing long range nukes. I believe he wants to learn how to govern like those people do. I wouldn't put it past him.

I hope he can prove me wrong on that. But it will take actions, not words.

Exactly! What do you suppose the thread would be if Obama had kissed and made up with the Religious Wright. (sorry, I couldn't resist).

Since Hatewhitey Wright is a service veteran, along with his hate of the government, & penchant for reciting conspiracy theories, I wonder if he's on Napolitano's watch list. Maybe that's what the tension is......

    Abosolutely AMAZING!!!!!!

    Here it is:
We're discussing the personal business..... and whines..... about why the President isn't talking to his former pastor......

But so many still defend the same President that it would 'take too much of his time' to prove his constitutional qualifications.... or at least remove the barrs and access to school records .......or expect that some of us will have reason to continue to question him when even private employers and government agencies require of us more proof.....that what we've requested of the President.

But you can return to the whine about Wright can't get right with the President..... and who the President finds time to talk to.
