I don't like the idea of these terrorists coming to our country. If I was a warden of any institution that had those detainees, I would ensure that they are mixed within the general population. American prisons are known for prison gangs. These gangs are hate-based. As dirty as it would sound, I would use that to our country's advantage. If you divide them up & put them in different sections, I garauntee you they wouldn't last very long. I know that the gangs of whites, blacks, & hispanics would give them such a hard time that they would be begging to go back to Guantonimo. I would ensure that their stay at my prison is as miserable as possible.

From the story: " A White House spokesman says the Obama administration hasn't decided whether or not to release Guantanamo Bay detainees in the United States.

Spokesman Robert Gibbs said President Barack Obama has made clear "we're not going to make any decision about transfer or release that threatens the security of this country." "

Yeah, we wouldn't want an administration to think before making decisions. Let's just have them rush into decisions like the Bush administration did about invading Iraq.

Hey, I have an idea: let's take a valid criticism of Obama, and twist it into an unrelated criticism of Bush.

For all of the disavowing of President Bush on the part of conservatives they sure do complain a lot whenever he is criticized.

Yeah, it takes a real brain surgeon to see

    Terrorist = Bad
I hope your hero/king doesn't lay awake at night trying to figure out that equation...

Somethings are so simple that even the stupidest liberal could figure it out...

But not our Prez.. .He is so stupid.

I tell you what, if these terrorists are turned loose in the US, and some come around my house trying to do us harm.. Waterboarding will be the least of their worries...

I would have no problem blowing them away if they try to hurt people I love...

And you lilly livered crying liberals can cry for them all you want.

One thing I do give conservatives credit for...they are some of the top name-callers in the world.

    But on substance...not so tops.

Just heard that our wonderful prez is placing a terrorist next door to you...

    Obama says he is harmless...

    What do you do?

It doesn't take a lot of thinking to realize it is the stupidest thing our prez could consider...

Our military rounded the terrorists up, just so our Gov. can read give them US citizens rights and allow them to run free in the US.

These jerks want to kill us...

I wonder who's side Obama is on?

I hope you made that statement in jest. If not, I feel sorry for you if you really think like that.

Perhaps a remedial reading comprehension course would help you.

Let me repeat. Read it slowly:

    In summary:

OP...is about Obama releasing Guantanamo prisoners in US.
Your reply...is about "Bush invading Iraq."

Heck, if you want to criticize Bush, I'll probably agree with you on much of it.

But your credibility takes a hit every time you refuse to discuss a valid criticism of Obama...and you do so by posting an off-topic criticism of Bush.

If you don't have an answer, then don't post.

LOL!.. .Yeah, it was mostly just said in jest.. Just pushin buttons!...

Pssst... a lot of what I say is just for fun... (Just don't let others know)

I love a good, hot political argument.. it relieves some stress for me.

While I seriously disagree with Obama's policies.. I seriously feel he is doine what he thinks is right for America.

OK... This post will self destruct within 30 seconds of Ken reading it..
If I have the settings set right...

I'd fear more for the terrorist since I don't believe they'll live through the night if anyone believes they had something to do with 9/11.

However, that is just my thoughts... The people don't worry me because I refuse to claim the spirit of fear. It didn't come from God so I don't want it.

I'm not afraid either. But, it's one thing to not be afraid. It's another to be stupid. And, it's stupid to even consider releasing terrorists in our country.

Now folk, which way do you want it? In another thread Obama was being criticized for sending the Uighurs to Palau. Now y'all are criticizing the possibility of his bringing them to the States? What is it you want?

You do not flatter yourself by pretending not to understand the issues.

The criticism of sending them to Palau was the inordinate amount of taxpayer money that was being used to pay off that country to take them.

Palau would not take them without a huge payday for it.
