Were the police in the way?

    The cops were wrong for delaying her going to work. She was doubly wrong for keying their car.

    I agree. It seems to me that the police could position their cars so as not to block traffic. Still, the woman was stupid to do that. What did she hope to accomplish? Did she think the police wouldn't do anything about it? I would think it would be better to be a few minutes late to work (with a justifiable excuse) than to end up being arrested.

    Used to be back in the day the motto was "to protect and serve." Seems that it has changed to: "to protect and serve OURSELVES."

    Now that that is out of the way, perhaps there was a legitimate reason that the cops could not move their car right then. We only have part of the story. And who trusts newspapers to get it right anyway?
