Well, ...... and I hate myself for saying this, but at least the doctor in question is a black man and Jesse Jackson can't turn this into a "white conspiracy" against the "people".

I agree, it's none of Jesse Jackson's business.

But, if MJ's death was due to precription drugs damaging his heart and if , as has been speculated that he had multiple prescriptions from multiple doctors, then someone IS to blame.

IF all of this is true, then that doctor isn't worth his mettle.

If Michael's family has invited Rev. Jackson in, then that is quite different than him interjecting himself. I see no word, one way or the other.

From what I have observed... if a patient has multiple prescriptions from multiple doctors it is most likely the patients fault, is most likely intentional and is most likey a drug abuse situation.

I have a brother in-law who has this problem and he has several friends in the same boat.

Yes, Michael Jackson shares the large portion of the blame. But this doctor does, too.

He was a full-time live-in doctor who knew about the problem. And that's enabling. And it's not worthy of a doctor.

I am aware how individuals can cheat the system and get multiple prescriptions. But the ones that I know of don't have live-in doctors.

I don't see a family in less than 24 hours after a death calling a civil rights activist to be a spokesperson for the family and to share intimate details with the public of private griefs and private conversations and to make not-so-subtle accusations.

They may have invited him over, although I can't see it. Knowing the aggressiveness of political figures like JJ, I can see him calling them and saying, "I'm coming over to do what I can for you.".

    And then running with it......

Jesse calls and says...I'm hopping on a plane to come out and help you out.

They say...OK, Jesse, that'll be fine, thanks, then they hang up and say..."Oh great. THATS ALL we need!

this is what I intended on saying. It's no accident when a person has multiply prescritions from different doctors, the person intded t this way and only one reason, get more drugs to abuse.

All logical assumptions need to go out the window. We are dealing with the Jackson family here.

I think J Jackson has already had previous involvement with M. Jackson and probably his family. As a celebrity with notable contacts... including that strange doctor DeePak Chappoka... or whatever his name is ...... it would not be unusual for the family to use J Jackson as a spoke-person.... and, no doubt, they would want every effort to be made to put the blame on another and clear M Jackson of contributing to his own death via drug abuse, or to implicate anyone associated with his debts to recoup or stabilize the liability against his estate.

I think of Michael Jackson as a very talented, charismatic, introvert who tried to be an extrovert, excentric, vacant and empty of depth, immature and stunted in his emotional development and lacking adult maturity -insight -responsibility, immoral, idolized excessively ----with all the trappings for which he was never prepared, and tragic.

He's dead now, and the most expensive medicine and medical supervision which he could buy could neither buy him immortality nor a long life, and, if anything, most likely played a major part in contributing to his early death.

In some ways, his persuit of a perfect body or image through plastic surgery, strange dietary habits, and medicine, give some insight as to areas of his fears and absence of any real foundation of faith: As Christians, we know there is only one sure unfailing foundation of faith.....that in Christ Jesus! But people who have beliefs solid in false religions and emotional maturity, still have a stability of direction which he never demonstrated; personally, I think he was an empty soul still searching and never found what he needed or was looking for. He's tragic in his life and death, in my view, in spite of all his fame, talent, and squander fortune.

I also feel the news and the forums contribute too much attention to the death of a man who contributed very little worth to society for all his fame, and left a question of legacy of pedophillia involving at least 5 kids, which is NOTHING to celebrate and regretable if forgotten.

Even a live-in doctor may not know all that a person has access to or what he takes, mixes, or abuses. This doctor is responsible for what he knows and enabled.... but not for failure of his patient to fully comply and inform.
