Yeah...wouldn't want to actually punish those criminals. If the criminals actually learned a lesson and stopped doing the stupid things they are doing maybe they would realize that voting democrat ain't so great. Could be that liberals like criminals right where they are and voting from the dems.

    Maybe liberals like criminals because:

    A. It means more government jobs for support services like law enforcement, jail employees, work gang supervisors, atorneys and parole officers, social workers and medical workers, GED educators, etc.

    B. A person with a record may be easier to manipulate into doing 'a dirty job'....

    C. Former prisoners probably have 'connections' and can help the liberal party and dope habits.

    D. Like most ignorant people..... the liberals can promise them anything and they'll believe it and remember to vote liberal... when their vote rights are restored.

    E. They have a lot in common: What many liberals dream of and some do..... the inmate has already done.

Yep, who is it that is always pushing for felons to have the right to vote?
Also, who is it that is always pushing for illegal immigrants to have the right to vote too?

I first heard of him while watching a documentary reagrding cameras. It was mentioning how his jail has cameras that are linked to the internet. He was interviewed & said that, "If you get arrested for drunk driving, you can wave to your wife & tell her you won't be home for a while." Of course I'm paraphrasing, but I thought that was funny.

In another documentary about him, I found out that more tax money goes to pay for feeding the K-9 units than to the inmates. Inmates get bologna sandwiches & water to drink & fruit if they are lucky. That's the way it should be. Too much tax money goes toward our jails & prisons. I can understand making them bigger to contain more inmates, but I don't like the idea of how they get free food, room & board, & get better medical care than those of us who abide by the rules.

It's not his holding of criminals that I have a problem with, in fact, I applaud his work on this front. It's the antics that bother me, that's all.

People, there's a thought, when you can't afford living and following the rule of GOD, go rob a Bank with the intention of being caught. I for one am for Joe. The one thing he tells those who complain, "If you don't like it here, don't come back." That shows his way of telling you to stay clean of the Law and you won't have to put up with this kind of treatment. Hat's off to Sheriff Joe.

    Arpaio

Sheriff Arpaio has the support of his community and judging by his past, he is well qualified to be sheriff. I just don't like the bologna sandwiches, pink underwear, and the like. I also think Sheriff Joe likes the spotlight a little too much. All in all they are minor complaints. I've lived where Arpaio would have been an improvement over what we had, that's for sure.

Bologna sandwiches an antic? It's called a cost saving method. He's got the cost down to 40 cents a meal for the prisoners. I think that's pretty great, but you call it an antic. Would you rather that the prisoner's meals were more expensive?

Pink underwear an antic? No, if you read the article you'd know that thousands of dollars worth of boxers were being stolen from the prisons and sold, presumably because thugs thought it was cool to wear them outside. He died them pink as a deterrent to them being stolen.

I think he knows how to run a prison. My brother was once a Correction Officer, he said that all of a sudden the inmates claim that they don't eat this and they don't eat that, and make them feed them special much more expensive food, like kosher, something they will not probaly eat again once they leave.

We need more men like Sheriff Joe. He does a much better job at enforcing the law than most. He even does a better job enforcing laws against illegal immigration than the Fed does. Maybe that is why the current AG is investigating him. He could cost the Dems some votes by keeping illegals out.
