WASHINGTON -- Jordan on Monday joined Saudi Arabia in publicly rejecting U.S. appeals to improve relations with Israel to help restart Middle East peace talks, throwing a damper on the Obama administration's push for Arab support behind new negotiations.

After talks here with Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh said incremental confidence-building measures that the U.S. wants Arab states to take will not produce a resolution to the conflict.

It's extremely difficult to immediately re-institue normal relations after 8 years of abuse by the Bush administration which framed all Arab countries as our enemies.

Very true. Also since Israel refuses to try to improve relations without a bunch of preconditions there does not seem to be much anyone can do.

What preconditions? Glad you ask ..............

What a bunch of nonsense. I am no Bush fan, as to me he is part of the Democrat-Republican axis that you seem to be in the middle of, but the fact is, George Bush had or has nothing to do with this conflict. This conflict started in Genesis, and will continue until the end of time. It does not matter what the United States does or does not do, how much money we spend, who is elected President, the conflict will always be there. All we can hope to do is keep it under control in the context it will never be solved.

What did you expect George Bush to do with the Arabic countries after 9/11, roll out the red carpet? Another fact is Israel is one of the few true allies we have. That has nothing to do with the Bible.

You need to get a handle on history. Ok, you can now go back to debating your deluded view of a difference between the two parties. Duhhhhhhhhhhh, heres your sign.

    Do they?

God sent the messiah and they rejected him. Are you sure they are still God's chosen people or is God's chosen the Church?
