    What a piece of filth.

Nancy Pelosi claims protesters are "carrying swastikas and symbols like that to a town meeting on healthcare."

    SOURCE

I wish being stupid AND evil was a felony. This woman should be institutionalized.

I'm not trying to defend her because I think she is not defendable, but I need some clarification.

Were there people at the town hall meeting with swastikas? Or was she just "labeling" the opposition unjustly?

Not likely, but if there were some somewhere:rolleyes: clearly her intent was to paint all opposition in light of this. Talk about hateful.

If there are any persons with swastikas present..... their purpose is likely one of two reasons...... either they are part of an extreme group and their purpose is less with the subject concerning the rest of the crowd and more to draw attention to themselves OR deliberate actors and plants to cast questions and suspicion on others who are present and have legitamate concerns and opposittion. Either way....... such symbols serve to label, divide, and create suspicion and often become the excuse of others who needed to target the opposition and then generalize charteristics as belonging to the whole opposition..

WC..... trying to imagine...... Nancy P with a goatee.... or what ever they call it.... arm band with broken cross...... her fist held high..... palm outstretched and open, looking high over a crowd and proud.... 70 years ago......... It fits..... but she needs some more wrinkles, sags, and crows feet!

I feel bad for the first idiot who dares show up wearing one, now that she has said this.

What a despicable woman she is.

The vast, most, larger number, excessive amounts of Americans do not like her.

Yep that's the one I tend to believe... It is also quite common for them to plant rabble rousers in a peaceful protest, just so they will have an excuse to meet the protest with force.

It's been alleged that there was at least one sign of a swastika with a red circle and slash painted over it. Which means no nazis.

See the sign by clicking on this link. http://www.washingtontimes.com/weblogs/watercooler/2009/aug/06/pelosis-visions-swastikas/

Great post, but I will add that plants are happening by both sides.

However, swastikas bother me far less than not allowing civil debate. Again, I am speaking about both sides. This is because the real victim is average Joe who is trying to understand what all this means to them and to give their elected representative their concerns.

That's quite a remarkable construction. Try the K.I.S.S. method. "Most Americans don't like her."

LeBuick, yes us average Joes really want to understand...

But do you really think that anyone in congress really understands?
    I don't...

And I have taken the time to read through the bill.. and I don't understand it.

And I don't consider myself dumb by any stretch of the imagination....

I would even say my IQ is about as high as my Senators Byrd and Rockefeller.. along with my Rep Alan Mollohan...

So there is no way I would ask them to explain it to me....

    Byrd is senile
Rockefeller was duped by the "Weapons of Mass destruction mantra"
And well, Mollohan.. he is not that smart either...

I truly think one of the reasons the Senators are yelling back at their constituents is that the Senators don't understand the bills either...

But they are trying to walk party lines.

Are you saying that everyone on Patients First bus is a resident of that district. You don't think OFA don't have plants wearing union shirts. The problem we have is separating fact from the fiction.

Wasn't the NAZI economic policy a partnership of big business and government? Isn't that the economic history of the US for the last 40 or 50 years?

When government began regulating it to death it became necessary to petition government to protect themselves from over regulation. The government intrusion is more correctly stated than government and business partnership.
