Today, Republican Congressman Tim Johnson refused to allow one of his concerned constituents their first amendment rights. The constituent was simply engaging in spontaneous passion and wanted to be heard. Instead, he was denied his constitutional rights and was silenced by his Representative.

Then the good congressman from IL advised the constituents to act more like a Republican instead being uncivilized at these meetings...

You go GOP, showed those democrats how to control an out of control meeting...

So, the Congressman should have just let the audience member speak for however long he wanted with no care to every else there?

The next time Obama is speaking somewhere and they won't let me get up and speak for an hour with him, I'm going to claim my first amendment rights are being violated.

There's no comparison here. The democrats are trying to shut out opposition while not even attempting to answer their opponent's concerns.

No, I agree with you. However your words are contrary to how the GOP has been acting at the democratic meetings. They have not let anyone speak and disrupting the entire meetings.

They are not given a chance to answer the concerns, are you watching the clips? As soon as they say a word the shouting starts up again. Exactly like what was happening here.

The democrats have been given plenty of opportunities to answer. They choose not to. Don't you watch CSPAN?

You must not be referring to at the meetings because they haven't been given a chance to respond at any of the meetings. Of course that was the intent from those who issued the marching orders. Total disruption.

    This is not true.

Many of the people at the meetings you describe are not Republicans.

Don't act like they all are. Lies are not becoming.
