I certainly do not want to appear to be "nitpicking" but, I can't help but wonder just when our new president will stay in the Oval Office long enough to get some work done. After all, that is what my share of taxes go for. It seems that every since Obama was inaugurated he and his family has been on Air Force One seeing the world.

During the past few weeks, he's been visiting American resorts and places of interest, and though he gives a speech wherever he goes, it seems that his inability to be in his office long enough to get actual work done in order to move this nation out of the financial mess it is stuck in has given has given way to his desire to take the wife and kids on one long, continuous journey to see the world.

There are several things that bother me about his desire to see the world on one long vacation. To begin with, every trip he takes costs the tax payer lots of good old American Green Backs. Green backs the we are so sorely in need of. Obama needs to realize that the ordinary U.S. Citizen doesn't have the kind of bucks to go the places has gone to in his first 150 days in office. If he expects Americans tighten up their belts, shouldn't he set the example?

There are serious problems in our nation, and all of them have to do with money. We elected this guy to get us out of this financial mess, and each vacation/business trip he takes costs us precious money. Money that could help people loosing their homes to sty in their homes. I realize the president needs to meet with world leaders, but instead of going there, have these folks come to Washington. Their visit, and the folks they bring with them would be a "shot-in-the-arm" to D.C. businesses.

What I've seen since Obama moved into the White House is the same thing I observed when Obama was a US Senator. Instead of doing the business of being an elected Senator, he spent the majority of his time traveling all over this nation, and Europe to read his TelePrompTer messages to people in hopes of winning the election.

My question is this: When does this guy sit down and spend productive time in the Oval office for betterment of the American people and the financial mess this nation has been mired in for so long?

Mind you, it's not just Obama....it's a good majority of our elected officials. They spend less time fixing what's wrong with America than they do socializing, partying, and just plain finding creative ways to stay out of their offices while the paperwork builds up on their desks.

What kind of message does this send to our children, and the people nations around the world? The time for politics as usual has got to end, or I can promise you there will be no America in the next 50 years.

Let's get things changed in D.C., and let's get the president to lead us out of this muck and mire we've become stuck in.

That is what the "American People" wanted. They did not want a strong President who would actually work and accomplish anything. They wanted a Public Relations man who would entice people with smooth words. By staying out of the oval office, he does not have to 'do' anything. He's just a front man anyway, with no backbone or authority to do anything. ALL the decisions are being made for him, it is part of the deal that got him "elected" into office. If he ever decided to actually BE the President, THEY would remove him from office. John F. decided that he was President and began to make decisions contrary to THOSE who "elected" him into office, and we all know what happened to him. I don't think BHO is man enough to stand up and BE the President.

My answer is this: The less Obama does, the less the Congress (both Democrats and Republicans) do, the better off we as Americans are. As long as we continue the endless cycle of switching from Democrats to Republicans and vice versa, nothing will change. They are both a scurge on our nation and a stench to the Lord. Neither honors the Constitution. Both spend us into oblivion. Neither controls our borders. It takes a microscope to detect a difference. The character of our leaders today is basically a self-indulgent thief. They are a bunch of power hungry thugs that rob and drain the American people daily of money and freedom. Until we have leaders that govern by the Constitution and serve us instead of the lobbyists, CEOs, Wall Street crooks, and corporate America, we will never see change.

He is doing what he promised...change and hope. He is "changing" the way a president is supposed to lead, and "hoping" American buy into it so he can stay on vacation for another 7 1/2 years...

I vote that he will start to work after he stops admiring his pectorials in the mirror. Hopefully they will keep him occupied indefinitely.
