The WHO doesn't have any idea how many "confirmed" cases of swine flu there is. It's already been admitted.

1) the WHO is not collecting data on the spread of H1N1 based on systematic lab confirmation.

2) the WHO in fact discourages national health officials to conduct detection and laboratory confirmation, while also pressuring the countries' public health authorities to duly deliver to the WHO on a weekly basis the data on H1N1 cases.

3) The WHO in its reporting only refers to "confirmed cases" It does not distinguish between confirmed and non-confirmed case. It would appear that the "non-confirmed" cases are categorized as confirmed cases and the numbers are then used by the WHO to prove that the disease is spreading.

The swine flu has the same symptoms as seasonal influenza: fever, cough and sore throat. What is happening is that the widespread incidence of the common flu is being used to generate the reports delivered to the WHO pertaining to the H1N1 swine flu. Nonetheless, in the tabulated release of country level data, the WHO uses the term: "number of laboratory-confirmed cases", while also admitting that the cases are, in many cases, not confirmed.


I wish people would try keep up with these lies, how about you OR? But you're right, this is just going to be used to grab more power, more money, and more control. Just like the global warming hoax.

 

thousands of people die from flu every year, so flu deaths are not new, and so far swine flu does not excees normal flu for deaths.

 

I doubt he does, but he does present a very good case. If the WHO did not exist, would that change one thing about the swine flu? More or less cases? Would it spread to different areas? I doubt swine flu knows a thing about the existence of the WHO.

I will rely on the Lord and local doctors to take care of me and my family, and do not need the WHO. I believe the rock band Who was much more entertaining.

Why do you equate helping the poor with a government take over of the health care system? If you were following the Bible as you imply in your answer, then why don't YOU do it, instead of relying on the government. Where in the Bible does it say the government should help the poor. Isn't this a mandate for the local church and individual believers? Do you have a problem with the seperation of church and state? Do you think the federal government is the church?

 

Excellent question. It appears they do, as long as a liberal is in charge.

 

Don't come preaching that we should support government welfare or healthcare based on scripture and the later preach separation of church and state.

 

Lucky? I have been paying for health insurance for almost 40 years now and have only been to the doctor (other than several checkups) just once.

And while there are a few who are poor through no fault of their own, most people (at least in this country) are poor because they fail to work, or waste their money. I am not saying we should not help the poor, we should. But most are poor of their own doing in this country.

Insurance is one of those things you hate until you need it. I have been paying for car insurance for nearly 40 years as well and have never made a single claim. I haven't had a ticket in 30 years, and never had an accident. So why should I pay for insurance?

But that is how it works. Everybody pitches in. Hopefully you never need it, but it is there just in case.

I personally think that opening up insurance companies to cross state lines would help. Competition always drives prices down. Also, if the FDA would loosen some of their rigid regulations and allow medicines that have been approved in other developed countries, this would also increase competition and drive prices down. And tort reform would help as well. Doctors pay enormous insurance premiums for malpractice because of fantastic lawsuits.

Socialized medicine does not work. I work with a lady from Poland, she told me that in her country doctors get paid a certain fee each month regardless of the number of patients they treat. Well guess what? They treat as few patients as possible, there is no incentive to treat as many patients as they can as in this country. So, the service is very slow and poor at that. A doctor in this situation is going to scrimp on treatment as he makes more profit that way.

Is it necessary to call names over a political issue? You see, when you call Brother Curtis such names, it shows a great lack of insight and perception on your part. If you were really paying attention to what Brother Curtis says in general, you would realize there is a greater gap between his stance on most things and the Republicans than you and the Republicans. The reason you do not see it is because you think anyone opposing you is a Republican, when in fact, there is a third side to this equation. In fact, in reality, your type and the Republicans stand side by side and are opposed by those who are truly conservatives and cherish the Constitution.
