    We watched the speech together is was awe inspiring , then the disrespectful outburst from a Republican calling the President of the United State a Liar as a Mexican who works hard and pays taxes here , we feed your kids, mow you lawns, paint your houses, build your houses, pave your roads , Joe Wilson is the reason the Latino voter will take a long time coming back to vote for them, Joe Wilson hurt you tonight , just look at the outrage from within John McCain, plus Joe is from racist South Carolina where God is judging the state with an adulterous governor who dishonors Jesus Christ and still they support him. that says alot about South Carolina and the backwards people who cause strife and hate the President not all because I know all Latinos there will reject them and others someday South Carolina will be blue because of their sins and hate.
    but thank God for John McCain who called him down this just happened

    (1) so @CongJoeWilson issued a statement: "This evening I let my emotions get the best of me when listening to the President’s remarks...
    (2) "...regarding the coverage of illegal immigrants in the health care bill. While I disagree with the President’s statement,..."
    (3) "...my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I extend sincere apologies to the President for this lack of civility.” - fin -

    good for him but still the Republican party has lost the Latino vote for a long, long, long, long time.

    this is my Opinion, thanks for listening I am mad at Republicans and tell all Latinos to boycott them.

    So what exactly is your real problem with Joe Wilson?

    Something to do with his position on illegal aliens?

    Why does Mexico control it's southern border - keeping out all the people from the south?

    Why does Mexico jail their illegal aliens?

    Why doesn't Mexico allow South Americans to enter Mexico illegally?

    Wow - quite the elitist, huh? Are you an American or a Latino? I'm an American. I don't identify myself with a racial or ethnic group because that's not important. What's important is that I love my country and I want what's best for my country. You claim over and over again "Latino" but does that matter? Doesn't for me.

    "Latino" a made up term intended to enforce solidarity among those who speak variants of Spanish.

    Ask Spaniards if they are "Latinos."

    The OP categorically qualifies as a troll.

    That said, I'm not sure what the speech last night had to do with Latinos. The outburst in question came in response to Obama's claim that illegal aliens would not be covered under a public healthcare plan. There was no mention of enthnicity. This would, therefore, also include the 25% of illegal aliens that are from Europe, Asia, and Canada, who are usually not latino.

    The inconsistency in the OP is that it claims republicans lost the latino vote a long time ago, yet, according to the Registrar of Voters, approx 40% percentage of Latinos are registered Republican.

    An additional inconsistency is that it is Obama who is asserting no coverage for illegal ailens, not Republicans. By the OP measurement, it is Obama that is alienating Latinos.

    I agree. The same person has started at least two threads and never comes back on the defend her positions.

    Maybe we can have a contest to see who can start the most inflammatory threads without supporting them.

    And I came to the United States legally, by the way.)

    Probably not accurate Spanish, but I can speak some, too.
