The evening news said that they were not going to do anything until the black caucus pushed them to do something.

And by the way Former Pres. Carter on the same news declared that the tea party movement is due to racism and a lot of white people that do not think that a black can run the country.

Just plain hypocritical for those leaders who used the same term in reference to the previous president to rebuke Wilson now.

    I'm Proud of Joe....

It was great to finally hear someone call the POTUS a lier. Obama is a big boy, and if the "kitchen's tooooo hot, he should get out of it!":applause:

I didn't hear the GOP make the same kind of deal out of the "booing" the Dem's gave Bush during State of the Union speeches, and other publicly televised speeches.

Bush told little white lies, no different than Obama, and the Dem's called him out. This was simply a case of "what-goes-around-comes-around" and Obama should simply move on...

Shalom MP, and peace to you,

That is because the truth will not stand up to the light of day. They wanted to push this through in a hurry before anyone would see the details and it didn;t work this time. So the Americans people by and large are not buying it based on the facts and they cannot stand it. So now they need to create victims where none exist. This is the bottom level of politics and Obama is the leader of it all.

As soon as the "race card" gets yanked out of the Dem. playbook, we know that they are at the end of their rope and have little else to fall back on. It is a sad thing that anyone would use race negatively to advance any cause, but as soon as it happens the end is usually not far behind.

There goes Jimmy shouting off his mouth again! Wish he would just keep his nose out of things (he is such an example of success).

    No kidding.
Wonder why he lost the election in a 'landslide'.
The best thing that ever came out of the Carter Administration was ' Billy Beer' . And that s^(#ed.
(But Homer liked it!) (You don't get any prize, but if you can remember the episode, more power to you.):tongue3:

Okay, so let's assume Wilson was a loudmouth, what he said was in poor form, and was disrespectful. All that said, approving a resolution that berates him is intense overkill. First, a resolution has no binding on anyone whatsoever. Second, it's making an incredible mountain of of a molehill, bringing excessive and unnecessary attention to a minor event. Third, it's sheer partisan posturing. If the tables were turned, the democrats would be accusing the republicans of partisansip, and they'd be right.

MP, remember that in November of 2010 when Wilson's opponent is thrashed at the polls. I am putting this on a calendar to remind you.
