Yes, let us all be more civil.

Cantor is smart enough to know that the incivility shows elsewhere is hurting the GOP. I like this Republican, he is becoming smarter.

Complete "civility' won't be possible until democrats start telling the truth and paying attention to the will of the people.

Right now, they are in complete denial, determined to do what they want, not what the people of America want.

The joke is that C.T.B. pretends he's the voice of civility.

The will of the people is what put the Democratic Party in charge. They have the mandate. Your boys lost...get over it and work on something to reform the sad state of the Republican Party in America.

Sorry no one gets to do just whatever they want and it is clear at this point Obama will get little on health care.

The will of the people has clearly changed on this issue.

Democrats have already cashed their blank check. The smokescreen has blown away.

They never had a "mandate" and what little margin they had is gone.

Mismanagement and lies will do it every time.

Too many here believe that the loud-mouths represent the majority. The majority put President Obama into office along with a Democrat majority in both Houses. Once the followers of Beck and Limbaugh are seen for what they are, I believe we will have real health care reform.

Just curious... as you point out, the Democrats control the White House and both houses - so why do you suppose that they are so reluctant to simply pass what you claim is the will of the majority of the people?

President Obama is attempting to reach across the aisle, but it appears to be of no avail. I wish he would be more progressive and not concern himself so much with what the opposition is willing to do.

What ideas from across the aisle has he embraced in regards to health care?

    None.

Obama's way of reaching across the aisle is get on board or be left out. He's counting on the tyranny of the majority in Congress.

Not of the people, the majority of whom haven said they want reform, but not a government run program.

Always a true statement, the next election. Historically the party in control looses some seats in the off year election. There will be no surprise if the Democrats loose some seats. What will be, to me at least, a surprise is if they pick up some seats.

The government's been elected, let them the time to do the job, thay have the mandate. Of course, as ALWAYS in politics, everything the opponent of someone's point of view will do will be wrong.

It is my opinion that "incivility" is a label tag put upon the act of Free Speech, Redress of Grievance and several other rights denied us as American citizens concerning the content of the Health Care Bill which has morphed several times and currently is going to be voted upon:

Here is another recent act of denial against us: we are not allowed see the text of the updated Bill. Why? Because we are too stupid too understand it.

In actuality (IMO) its going to be ram-rod of an updated Health Care Bill so that it can be rushed in under the cover of darkness before "we the people" can examine it.

In other words, just shut up and stop complaining, you are too stupid to understand what we are about to do to you.

Why is this bill different than all other bills?

Hey! many of us aren't that stupid but we are smart enought to know when the proverbial wool is being pulled down over our eyes.

Who has been telling you the text is not available. It is ... but remember the wording is not set in concrete yet and is subject to change as the debate goes on.

Here is a link to where you can read the bill. It is a very large bill and takes a long time to load.

    http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-3200

Nope, it is going through the normal channels. There is an awful lot of misinformation being published, shouted and sent concerning this bill.

    Hi CBT,

This is the old HR3200 to which you have linked.

I'm talking about the "latest and greatest" of which they only have a summarized form.

Read what was said on Greta's link and you will see that even after it is detailed and ready to vote upon "we the people" will not be allowed to see it because we are too stupid too understand it.

    Thanks
    Hank
