Turning food into auto fuel is somehow perverse. Corn liquor . . . horse of another color.

In one of the corn states - don't remember which - mid grade fuel is sold at the same price as low grade but the mid grade was mostly alcohol. I was driving a car that pinged on low grade and tried the moonshine grade. The MPG was so terrible that it was cheaper to buy ethyl.

I have a song by the Wolfe Brothers called "Don't Drink Nothing But Corn" that I spin on my show. Thanks for mentioning corn liquor as I wanted to remember to play that song on my show tomorrow morning in honor of Murphy Oil's purchase of the Hanksinson plant. :)
