This editorial sounds reasonable to me .... most of the old white men of both the GOP and Democratic Party are clueless when it comes to the computer age.

Yes, I am sure that you are sincere about your concern here as evidenced by your support for Sarah Palin.:laugh:

I may be wrong, but I the last time I checked there were no black Republican representatives or senators in the US Congress. The last black Republican representative was J.D. Watts who did not run for reelection in 2002.

How many blacks have run for those offices? Also, I don't know if you're aware of this or not, but Michael Steele is black.

However the article isn't about representatives or senators in the US Congress.

It is about expanding the party by reaching people aged 18 to 24 through online social network sites.

You appear to have an unhealthy obsession with race.

    Liberal white guilt?

    GUFFAW !!!!

You said white men of both parties. Don't you even read yer own posts ?

You brought race into it. I didn't see it brought up by the author. Just an attempted, gratuitous slam on the G.O.P., however flawed.

Because men should feel guilty about being men because... we deserve it

Whites should feel guilty about being white because....we are the scourge of the earth

White doesn't mean "not black". I'd be curious to see the number of Repoublicans that are Hispanic, Asian, Jewish, etc.

Pick at the details and ignore the message. Not a way to win new voters.

But when the details are wrong, the message will be wrong.

There are also two Republican Asian Americans and one Native American Republican in the House. Interesting demographics.

Anyhoo, it's probably all off topic from the OP, but interesting nonetheless.

The GOP had a decent candidate in this last presidential election, Sarah Palin. Unfortunately the libbies smeared her and attacked her family in ways they never would have dreamed to doing to Hillary Clinton or Nancy Pelosi. I applaud the GOP women for trying to reach more voters, but they face an uphill battle if they are pro-life, pro-family, and are not of a minority heritage.

Yes !!!! And it would be a big mistake for the GOP to nominate any woman based on democrat approval of her.
