Next week we are having a revival meeting at our church. Evangelist Malcom Ellis is coming to speak, I have heard him before he is very good. My question is have you ever been in a church that has experienced true revival. It seems to me that there many people not just in my on church but all over that are spiritual dead, this has really become a burden for me something has to change and soon.
It has to beginning with me.

... In '98 I was a member of a church that was swept through with revival and I am a member of a church family now that is experiencing revival. Revival is not brought about by a charismatic speaker. In '98 the church I belonged to had become a family and revival broke out. The church I'm teaching at now is in revival because they have bonded as a family ad God is pouring out a blessing that none of us can contain. We have not hired an inspirational speaker, our pastor and associate pastor are teaching the Word of God, directly from the Bible and the lost are curious and come t hear them.
... If you want revival in your church your leaders will need to begin to teach Basic Christianity.

I'm looking forward to the day when God pours out revival on my church that wasn't scheduled several months in advance.

I'm looking forward to the day when the time for the scheduled revival arrives and it has already been underway for some time.

I'm looking forward to the day when revival breaks out instead of being worked up.

... Tom, the thing is that it begins with one man. That one man turns himself over to the complete disposal of God and when the LORD brings him to his knees in repentance and causes him to love his fellow man, even the drunken bum on the local skid row, his revival will infect others in the church family.
