Now we have a new face of America. We elected Barak Obama, and he does not feel that moral duty to you as Reagan did, at least not enough to stand up to the shrill American voices that hate the American military. So he will not be there on November 9th to Celebrate the Fall of the Berlin Wall. I do not think he sees it the way you do. He will also not participate in the festivities on the campus of my College. Westminster College, in my State of Missouri, is where the great Allied leader Winston Churchill gave the Iron Curtain Speech. He told the World how millions of our fellow human beings were being stuffed into the cage, the very cage I was privileged to help dismantle. He had a way with words. On the campus of another American College he gave his shortest speech “Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever give in.” But I digress.

Our new President believes that you are on your own. As the KGB agent-turned-billionaire, puppet master of the Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin conducts war games of an assault on Poland, Obama has decided to tear down the American missiles from Poland. We knew that he cared less as he promised to remove our protection from the Iraqi people. 150 of them were slaughtered just this week. He really wants to find a way out of Afghanistan and pull our soldiers out just as you are pulling your U.N. workers out right now.

So my new President will not be there with you, like John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan were there for you. He has other priorities. I really wish I could be there to celebrate with you. Unfortunately, with the passing of time, I have five children, our economy is bad, and I too, have other priorities. So I am sorry that my President, the American face to the World will not be there for you. I feel just a little better knowing that you asked America to give him to you. I hope you like him.

Strange he could make it to Copenhagen to lobby for the olympics for the political crime capital of the nation, but can't make it to Berlin for the anniversary of such a history making event.

I wonder if the reason might have something to do with having to acknowledge Ronald Reagan's part in it and he was afraid he would choke over the name.

Choke or choke-up. He probably did not want to get all teary eyed. After all Reagan did defeat the holy shrine of Marxism, the Soviet Union, without firing a shot.

We are trying to get along with the Russians. Why rub their nose in it and sour relations more.

Also, it is a German affair. Let them celebrate.

I figure there are more important things Obama can be doing than going to a celebration in Germany.

    What do you think?

The fall of something as pure evil as communism is always worth celebrating. He and his wife can take separate flights halfway around the world to bid for the Olympics but the freedom of people is not worth his time? I bet if it put money in the pockets of his cohorts in Chicago he would be there.

Personally, I think he should have gone. But if Obama had gone to Germany, he'd have been accused by of exploiting the opportunity for a photo op (see recent thread re: Dover).

It matters not what Obama does or does not do ... you will find fault regardless.

Well, duh... that's because he is incompetent.. :tonofbricks:

When he does something it's wrong
When he doesn't do something it's wrong....

Because he is a liberal democrat!... That's commonsense.

YOU set yourself up for that one!!!! Thanks....

We just had a most incompetent president, but no criticism about him. He earned my criticism with very poor decisions. Even though I believe he was a very bad president I posted ten things I liked about G. Bush. I have yet to see those who criticize Obama severely say anything good about him. I would think that at least a good word could be put in on his family values. He and his wife seem to be living family values out in their life. Agree?

But some hatred of Obama has nothing to do with is politics or being liberal and everyone knows it.

In case you did not catch his liberal implication Tim he wants to impose on those who opposes the pure evil man with racism because he needs a tool to demonize opposition at the highest maximum benefit regardless of the truth. More intellectual dishonesty.

That is a dufus comment. Some disagree with Obama

    1. because of politics
    2. because of his being liberal
    3. some simply because he is a Democrat
    4. and yes some because of his race. But not all.

However, no president, even GB does everything wrong. So, when a person continually finds fault with whatever Obama does or does not do it does make a person wonder why?

Few, however, will admit that his race has anything to do with their dislike of him.

    Utter nonsense.

You, know, I almost wish the Cold War was still raging. Since there is no Socialist superpower threatening the world, a generation in this nation has grown up thinking there is no threat to America and the American way of life. That ignorance put Obama into office.

There is always a threat. But a wise person or a wise nation does not purposely antagonize others.
