The first terroristic attack on U.S. soil after the 9/11/01 attacks occurred under George W. Bush's watch - the anthrax mailiings - committed, sad to say, by a Christian named Bruce Edwards Ivins.

And that so called Christian was in direct violation of the commands of Christ, whom he was professing to follow.

I'm not Bush apologist, but Clinton did nothing to stop the Islamic terrorists. America had its head in the sand, and that is exactly what people like yourself are trying to do now.

I'm more concerned about Islamic terrorists attacks since they are systematic, organized, and will not relent until they see the U.S. destroyed and dragged back into precivilization with them.

What you speak of is the work of isolated crack pots.

    Apples and whales. Huge difference.

Let me see, one crazy American with a truck bomb, and hundreds of Muslim crazy people with numerous weapons of destruction worldwide. Just who do you think poses the worst threat?

Just because al Qaeda poses a larger threat does not mean we should ignore acts of terror committed by others. To ignore these is to truly stick one's head in the sand.

I am a supporter of the war against al Qaeda. I am not a supporter of demonizing a whole group of people, regardless of their religion or lack thereof, because of the actions of a very tiny minority of that group. Are most Christians like this fellow who committed this act of terror? No. Are most Muslims like the fellow who committed the act of terror at Fort Hood? No.

Actions speak louder than words. I am more concerned about how people act than what they profess to believe. I don't excuse anyone's actions because they may be following or acting contrary to what they profess to believe.

Ken, my guess is that you started this thread in response to the other thread in which I pointed out that the attack at Fort Hood was the first Islamic attack on U.S. soil since 911.

And that the lapdog media and the Obama sycophants are trying to create the fiction that this was simply the act of one crazed stressed out military person.

I know that you are not a fan of "the one" so I can am only able to speculate that your dislike for all things Bush has caused you to jump into the "all terrorist-like acts are the same" camp.

No one is saying that we should ignore the random nut jobs and no one is saying that all Muslims are evil - but given your latest political incarnation - you should be able to recognize that there exists an organized, fanatical, terrorist wing of Islam that is set upon the destruction of all things Western - especially the U.S.

This attack and "the one's" response to it should be a reminder that "the one" and his followers don't consider Islamic terrorists to even exist let alone be a threat.

THe difference is that a "Christian" who commits such an act is in violation of the teachings of the Bible. Muslims who commit such acts are obedient to the teaching of the Koran. it takes about 5 minutes to read the history of Islam and learn that violence is, in fact, the norm. Let's see, can I name very free Muslim country in the 1300+ years of its existence? Oh yeah. That would be none. Try to go to any Muslim country and openly witness for Christ. You'll find out quickly that the violent ones are not a small minority.
I don't understand the reluctance of people to tell the truth about Islam. It is a vile, violent, woman opressing religion by its nature and creed and can be nothing else.

Ken's point is to protect Obama's reputation with regards to the first terrorist attack since 911.

Yeah, i understand that. But even if it'sthe 2nd such attack, it is reprehensible and the commander in chief as well as those who didn't get rid of this guy hold a huge level of responsibility for these 13 deaths. When will the American people demand that the political correctness insanity stop?

Don't worry, plenty of people noticed. He faced a great deal of criticism that he had not done enough to keep us safe. In fact there were dozens of groups accusing the Bush White House of complicity in the anthrax attacks. Nothing comparible has been said of Obama.

I disagree. If Muslims had the opportunity and ability to use terrorism to stifle Christianity, I believe they would do it. As long as they are a minority, they play by the rules, more or less. Once they are a majority, look out!
