A spokesman for Hamas, the Palestinian terror group, said that the Jihadist movement is loyal to Palestinian principles in its policy of terrorism against the Jews until Israel ceases to exist and said that any offer by the PA President Mahmoud Abbas to establish a Palestinian state, even with temporary borers, is rejected by Hamas.

Osama Hamdan, the Hamas spokesman, said the Hamas plan is based on obtaining a Palestinian state by force of arms, not by way of a grievance, a path which has failed and that Hamas will fight to eliminate the Jewish state of Israel altogether.

It's always been their policy. The only people who don't believe them is the current administration.

This must be a mistake. Don't you know that the Muslim religion is peaceful?

If you don't believe me, ask Johnv or KenH!

What I have said is that most Muslims are non-violent which is an indisputable fact.

As a religion Islam is awful - as are all non-Christian belief systems.

The problem is that politicians in the US don't believe Hamas. Jews have a prior history of someone writing that they want to destroy the Jews. Neither the west nor the Jews believed it the first time, but Israel believes that what Hamas and the PLA wants to do they will keep trying until they succeed.

When will others start believing what they keep saying.

At least one liberal gets it. Too bad thier heros in the White House don't seem to be able to grasp the concept.

As others have said, nothing new.

For those that believe the White House believes differently, here is Obama on Hamas.

This was reiterated by a spokesperson.

And again in his Cairo speech.

The thing is there probably would be a Palestinian state now if wern't for the Palestinians. By electing a Hamas-led government, they showed that they don't seen too interested in that.

Which means, like us, they elect leaders who don't represent them or their ellections are rigged.... or their aspirations for peace are our dilusional acceptance of pc k-rap.

Whatever is the problem, you're correct..... they are their own worse enemy.

Your mistake is believing Obama means what he says all the time. He has been caught in lie after lie. He is a liar. Period.

Not necessarily. A Christian from Lebanon gave a talk at the seminary in Prague and explained why Hamas is so popular with the Palestinian people and it was not the idea of the destruction of Israel that makes them popular. Rather is is the social work that Hamas does among the people, giving food to the poor, helping poor but bright students obtain an education, providing cheap or free textbooks to poor children. We never hear about this in the press here. Hamas does much more to help the Palestinian people in these ways then their political opponents.

This is a not an excuse their terrorist tactics toward those they do not like.

Thanks for showing us what Obama really means with some cold hard evidence. What would we do without you around to tell us what to believe?

Are you in gradeschool or something? When have I ever said that Hamas isn't a terrorist organization, or that the threat agaisnt Israel isn't serious or legitimate?

On topic, let Hamas try. If Hamas ever tried a serious invasion of Israel, it would mean an end to the Palestinian territories, and they know it. It will never happen. Israel has a consistent track records of defeating its enemies.

But oh the howls of rage and cries of war crimes when Isreal does respond to relief agency's (I mean Hamas) rocket attacks. The very people whom Hamas helps are the very ones hiding Hamas' rockets and providing launching pads. Then when Isreal responds by blowing up a home the world cries foul.

Both use terror tactics. Many more Palistanians have died than Israelis There are radicals in both camps that do not want peace unless the other is destroyed completely. Any innocent life on either side that is lost is a tragedy.

I see no heros in that part of the world ... except those who really are for peace and they are few and far between and are ignored.

    Bolded mine

Got some valid source for this???

All I've ever read/heard from the MSM, UN etc is "0" UNTIL Israel responds, & then it's condemnation of Israel for protecting themselves.

If that's the definition of "terror tactics", then yes, probably one could say, "Both use terror tactics."
