    Kiosk employee allegedly tore a crucifix from someone's neck

    Police arrested 22-year-old Abdul Walid Hamid of Hayward on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 4, after he reportedly tore a crucifix from a person's neck and scared others at Stoneridge Shopping Center.

    To a Christian or otherwise we do not need to be supporting the thought police's hate crime garbage.

    All crimes are hate crimes...

    anyhoo, while I am sympathetic for the people who dealt with this I also just got an email from a church leader in a country where Christianity is illegal about how several in his church were severly beaten over the weekend. They have all been left with wounds that, while they will heal, will have scars that linger for life.

    i wouldn't use that term, either "tongue in cheek" or otherwise, lest it become normalized.
