    The embarrassing opposition to Obama

As someone strongly opposed to the Obama Administration's policies, I am finding myself embarrassed time and time again by its opponents--Republicans, libertarians, and other. There are some very good and on-target spokesmen for principles of limited government and individual freedom, but they seem to get little attention; instead we seem to be deluged with superficial, ignorant spokesmen who don't even mouth clever soundbites, or hysterical loonies weeping and drawing absurd conspiracy theories on blackboards. All of that is sad enough, and then we get this(www.stephankinsella.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/live-free-or-die-billboard.jpg). This not so subtle piece of work is brought to us by a county Republican party. Not an isolated bunch of kooks, but a bunch of kooks with the official Republican Party name, suggesting violent overthrow of the duly constituted, democratically elected, government of the United States.

I hope that no Christians were involved in placing this billboard by the Missouri Lafeyette County Republican Central Committee or will support such a billboard.

What do you expect? A difference in Democrats and Republicans cut from the same moral cloth when neither has any respect for the Constitution?

I think it's an apt description of what is needed to turn the Socialists back. They won't go peacefully.

Are you advocating overthrowing the government through the use of armed force?

So you're advocating physically attacking people you disagree with? Stay classy, Aaron.

And powered by capitalism. No, I don't scroll all around every website to find everything on a a website. I read the news info. That was all.

    Thanks for the info. :)

The source of the news doesn't change my opinion about this GOP county committee.

By the way, I like your picture of one of my favorite preachers of all time - Charles Haddon Spurgeon. I have a CD collection of all of his sermons. :)

I'm advocating restoring the government, through deadly force if necessary.

Stay classy. I'm going to pray for you. You're so anti-American. Your words show that you hate justice, the rule of law, and our electoral system.

Aaron's words speak for themselves. It couldn't be more clear; you're just unwilling to see.

Arron made a qualifying statement which you have chosen to ignore.

I didn't ignore his qualifying statement "if necessary." However, his implication is that the government needs to be restored and that he will use "deadly force" if that's what it takes. It's his thinly veiled statement that the elected government we have now is bad enough to even consider using force as a possibility that sets me off. Not even Bush was that bad and look how he trampled on the Constitution. Aaron has shown time and time again that he's willing to put his political agenda above the Constitution and rule of law. In this thread he very clearly states he is willing to shred the Constitution when it suits him.
