Heard on the news last night that 1/3 of the nurses in Britain are refusing to take the vaccine. In Mobile county, AL, less than 1/5 of students have returned the parental consents passed out Nov. 18th and due by Nov. end.

It's either in this video or in the one I watched next related to the vaccines, where the doctor reported that the peak of the swine flu was expected in October and first of November. If true, then its a bit late to be taking the vaccine and expect immunity to build before one is exposed and catches the swine flu..... if that is their fate.

Oh, good heavens, this is the second time this video has gotten posted (the first time was some two or three months ago), and the second time it needs to be noted that the guy in that Kent Holtorf, who is into all sorts of quack medicine, like "biodentical estrogen" and lots of other quack nonsense. The fact is that since this video, there have been millions of doses of the vaccine administered, and the supposed claims of it being "deadly" haven't come to fruition. That's why quacks like Holtorf are no longer making the interview rounds.

While we haven't had the vaccine yet, from what I've seen, there are no reported serious side effects. I'm getting more comfortable with it although I'd still never get the flu-mist version of the vaccine.

If you're not in a high risk group, or are okay with getting the flu and getting over it naturally, then don't take it.

I had my H1N1 vaccine two weeks ago, along with my seasonal flu vaccine. Normally, I don't innoculate myself, but since I now travel on business a lot, I do so out of courtesy to those with whom I contract while travlling.

Well, so far only one of us have even had the seasonal flu shot. I went to get it and the doctor is out. My husband who has severe asthma and only 70% of normal lung capacity from scarring from the asthma has not been able to get it. :(

No vaccination for me or my wife. Of course, we decided this long before this BB debate erupted. We just don't get any flu vaccinations at all!

Had my H1N1 shot today. All volunteers at the local hospital can now get the shot free of charge.

    That's great, Crabby.

Nice self promotion by the way - very subtle.

I just had my jab 30 minutes ago. If I don't post after this, you'll know why. Don't get your hopes up though. ;)

I'll be working in clinics in Toronto and Oakland with lots of infections and flu over the next few months so I'll probably get some exposure.

I've never had a flu shot, and I never will.
