I like womens basketball (Go Lady Vols). Women's softball is fun to watch, too. I also like womens soccer, all on the college level.

I enjoy some womens olympic sports too, such as gymnastics, figure skating, speed skating, luge, etc. These were not an option.

I just can't get into the WNBA. Given that half the WNBA used to play just down the road, I should, but I just can't.

No. Not even a little bit. It's like watching paint dry.

I absolutely love women's volleyball. It might have something to do with the fact that my two daughters played women's volleyball in Jr High and High School.

off subject - but wouldn't that be girls volleyball?

ps - I wanted to add HS sports on the poll, but not enough room.
of course BB members are smart enough to compensate for that.

Uh, yeah, that's what I meant. They played volleyball on their Jr High and High School teams, respectively.

Now John could've been talking about WHEN they played HS and that they now play in college or something. UT's Lady VOLleyball team has done well lately.

Very much enjoy women's high school & college sports. Our high school has some very good teams.
    • Our high school softball team (fast pitch) won the state championship this past year and it was really fun to watch the title run. The pitcher is going to college on scholarship.
    • The student body really supports the volleyball team -- nothing like packing out a gym to watch girls volleyball. Unfortunately, they lost in lost in the regional finals this year, but had a record 20-4 for the year.
    • The soccer team made it to the regionals last year - which says a lot for a soccer team in south Florida.
We used to have season tickets for the U's women basketball games. Our son was one of the ball boys and it was lot of fun. Good ACC basketball too.

I'm not much for women's sports. The last girls basketball game I saw was when I was working my way through seminary teaching history and coaching football and baseball at a small high school. One season due to illness of the lady who coached the girls team, I had to coach girls basketball. At that time girls played two half court games, the offence stayed on one half and the defence played the other half.

I've seen one girls game in the last 10 years. As to the other sports, I haven't caught up to.

I don't care for women's sports but I'm not sure why. I'm not that big on sports, but have watched some like football and basketball mostly, and a little golf. Some games are exciting if the scores are close.

I have a watched a bit of women's basketball, which was not too bad. I don't care for other women's sports.

It seems somehow that women's sports are missing that oomph factor or something. Hate to say it since I'm a woman, but there it is.

Are we only talking team sports here? Because if not, I do like individual sports - men and women both - like downhill skiing, diving, swimming, etc.
