Obama Describes Nigerian As ‘Isolated Extremist,’ Despite Ties to Yemen

    President Barack Obama, in his first public comments on the attempted bombing of a U.S. airliner traveling from Amsterdam to Detroit, described the suspect as “an isolated extremist,” despite reports that the 23-year-old Nigerian had been trained in Yemen, a country he visited twice.

    .....Obama, in recounting what happened on Christmas day, also used the word “allegedly” to describe the incident. The president says he’s asked his aides to “continue monitoring the situation.”

    I'm not sure that Obama cares if there is a terror attack, as long as he remains in power.

    What a disgusting excuse for a President.

    "isolated extremist" ? Does that mean there aren't any more of them?

    Whew!!!

    Now we can go back to keeping our eyes on those disgusting Iraqi War veterans and right wing extremist tea partyers. That's where the real danger lies.

    America, listen up a bit. People have a problem with you. I wonder why that is?

    For those who take an interest in politics etc, the problems and answers are obvious but, it's always money that stops answers in my mind.

    We have to deal with things today though I would think.

    Why not give Palestinians a land, Basques, etc etc.

    It might stop a lot of bad stuff.

    Furthermore...who??? Who is supposed to "give" the Palestinians something?

    The US? (OK, they can have the District of Columbia. Seems they own it anyway.)

    The French? (Reminds me of the old joke: Raise your hand if you're European...raise both hands if you're French).

    Israel? They're a sovereign nation. What territory they have, they acquired. If we all are required to "give back" our land to its "orginal owners," let me go find a Mesopotamian...I'll be right back...

    First of all the goal of Islam is world domination. And people are terrorists because the evil is in their heart to do it not because of land or politics. If they will do it now they will do it if they got everything they demand.

    Your talking about Islam, not Arabs? Apparently only 15% of Arabs make up Islam.
