Our plans are up in the air. :( Two couples have said they want to get together with us on New Year's, but we haven't heard from either one. one couple has had a lot of sickness lately (stomach virus), and the other has their hands full care for a elderly parent.

We'll probably end up home by ourselves.

I voted watch the ball drop but I'm also having my son over and we'll order pizza and watch a movie.

Not sure if he will stay around but if he leaves, I'll watch the ball drop.

I always do this pretty much every year. I like staying home on New Year's Eve - would not want to go out.

Check out my thread on the Blue Moon tomorrow in All Other Discussions next door!

I voted for none of the above because I don't know yet. I always have good intentions. I always start out like this.....

But then somewhere, (just before the ball drops :BangHead:), I end up like this!!

My brother and his family are in town and we decided to have dinner together around 6 or so. It's also my youngest's 7th birthday so we'll have cake for her (hence why I marked "having a party at my house". But once they're gone (should be around 9 because they have a 5 year old who needs to get to bed), we're most likely going to bed early. New Year's doesn't mean quite as much now that we're old. LOL

I'll be working 1600 -2400 CST. Same thing on New Year's Day as well as on 01/02/10 and 01/03/10 (+ 4 hrs OT on 01/04/10).

With unemployment the way it is, I thank God that I still have a job to go to! :godisgood:

Going to go to the hospital to see our daughter-in-law as she battles her newly discovered leukemia - then home to bed.

I'll see 2010 in the morning, it will still be here :)

We had a great time last night at church. Game and Movie night, then prayed the old year out and the new year in. The kids played Battleship, Guess Who?, Uno Attack and Monopoly while the adults played Boulderdash.

Then we watch "The Printing" from Bob Jones University.

This is the second year we've done this and it will probably be something we do every year here.

Well, New year's Eve has come and gone, and I did nothing special--including drinking. Being diabetic I can't have the sugar anyway.
