If this global warming keeps up I think we are all going to freeze to death!

"Forecasters say the coldest stretch of weather in years if not decades could be heading for North Carolina. While temperatures won’t be falling to record lows, the National Weather Service says the duration of the cold weather is unusual. Highs could struggle to get above freezing for the next week in areas from Raleigh west." (SOURCE)

A few days ago, I woke up to -22 degrees, and by 2 in the afternoon, it had warmed up to 13. I like it cold, but I guess if you aren't prepared for it, it can be a bummer.

Are you getting any snow, or just cold ?

No snow in the Salisbury area, just cold.

It is as cold here right now as it was on a regular basis in Kansas City. Man, that place made me COLD and I am usually pretty warm natured.

There is some snow to the west of WS, but we didn't get any this time. We thought we were going to get freezing rain, but thankfully that didn't pan out!

Here on the outskirts of Charlotte, it feels pretty doggone cold, even to the Colorado guy.

Looks like we're going to a low of 16 tonight with a wind chill factor south of that.

Currently 7 degrees F in SE Wisconsin. Wind chill -6. Heading to an overnight low of about 0, which is about 15 below average. No sign of GW in these parts...

    Love it!

Here in NW FL it been brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr cold!

Bad time for central heat to go out...... A good time to be thankful for what does work: A space heater gets enough chill off to survive indoors with coats or get under the blankets........ open those facets and keep-em dripping.... and rise to check the new ice formation in the morning.

    Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Praise God there is an 'indoors'!

Spend half the night trying to warm up the covers enough to sleep.... then dreading the probable 'potty' call about the time the bed gets warm and then have to rewarm the covers if that takes any time. Wonder how the homeless survive!???????????????

    Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

    (spooky) I hear noises.

    Oh,
    its my teeth chattering!

Thank you Lord for still having most of my own teeth!

    Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Looks like Global warming is hitting us now. At the moment in the Salt City it is 25 degrees with winds at 13 mph. Must be the begining our our annual January thaw. At lest 18" of snow on the ground.

But thank goodness we are back in the lead for the Golden Snowball award!
