White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs, who has avoided answering questions on whether health care negotiations should be broadcast on C-SPAN, declined to say yesterday whether President Barack Obama would advocate posting the final negotiated bill on the Internet for 72 hours before it is voted on by the House and Senate.

I thought Obama did already did advocate that - back when he was running for office.

But like everthing else that "the one" says - there must have been an expiration date.

Lets just hope and pray that Massachusetts elects the republican senator. That would really put a scare into many democrats about the risk of losing office next election if they support the bill.

Why, His Majesty already knows we simple commoners are much too stupid and naive to be able to read, much less comprehend, all that He and His Most Elevated cronies... I mean, servants... have devised for us. I mean, we should all be prostrate before his throne, groveling for the privilege to lift our eyes to look upon his feet...

    He did.

What else would one expect from a pathological liar like the zero?

More false witness in the OP. Big difference between "Won't advocate" and "declined to say".

The difference exists in your mind only.

In the real world "declining to say" is "not advocating".

There is definitely a difference if I decline to say you ought to be taken out and flogged, versus not actively advocating such. But some of you guys have no sense of subtle shades of meaning. The world is not binary.

Your analogy is not comparible to the situation at hand.

    1. Obama campaigned on posting bills 72 hours before voting.
    2. Gibbs was directly asked if Obama would call for 72 hours posting of the bill.
    3. Gibbs said "we decline to say".
    4. "Declining to say" is "not advocating".

Sounds rather simple to me. Should we say he does not do as he has said he will? Decline to say isn't going along with him saying bills should or would be posted 72 hours before hand. At best he isn't truthful, who would have ever guessed that?

MP is probably like his hero Slick Willie and doesn't know what the definition of "is" is.
