Obama Declares Religious Freedom Day

How about a freedom from Obama day?:laugh::thumbsup:

 

Of course he surely isn't speaking of the USA, for he has suppressed Christianity by covering or removing any Christian art or literature from his back drops when he's speaking. But I guess that isn't religious suppression? I noticed Obama went to church yesterday; I wonder if this is the first time he has attended worship service since coming into office, does anyone know?

 

The Obama family has been atttending St. John's Episcopal Church, which is, quite literally, across from the White House. GW Bush attended somewhat regularly. Word has it that the Secret Service likes the church, not only because of its proximity to the White House, but also because they're familiar with it (many Presidents since Madison have worshipped there, often regularly). Although the Obamas have worshipped there with frequency, I don't believe they have found a "home" yet.

The Rev is right, that's a bit off topic. Sorry. I'm glad Obama said "My Administration will continue to oppose growing trends in many parts of the world to restrict religious expression". I hope and wish our POTUSes would practice what they preach.

 

We didn't need a "day" to recognize it. Obama is just pandering to religion and especially non-Christian ones. It was specially embodied into our Constitution as a recognized element of the people's will and rights. If only he could actually work to stop misuing federal law to stamp out Christianity maybe it would help us be able to live according to the liberty already assured us for a little longer. What he means, instead, is the influx of more non-Christian religions which is not good for our nation.
