This also plays out in the ratings of which fox beats all the other networks combined.

There is no doubt in my mind that FOX is far more popular than CNN or MSNBC. Personally, I don't like any of them. They exploit tragedy for ratings and they create division among their viewers. Our nation would be far better off if all three went out of business.

I don't trust any TV news. It's all sensationalized for ratings. The truth is often thrown out for increased ratings.

When a news show does something for ratings, whose fault is it, really? Theirs, for putting it on, or ours, for watching?

Division is not created by what people say but by what people accept.

And Conservatives love Fox because they are so biased ... nothing objective about their news reporting.

Yes Crabby, I'd like to hear from you which new organizations are not biased. Please don't say NPR. Then again, I could use a good laugh.

"Tell them what they want to hear." What an insult to many of us who watch Fox News.

As much as I hate to admit it, boy is right. The BBC has proven itself to be very even handed and reports things about Oba-Mao that the MSM wouldn't dare to report.

Can't speak to the BBC, but I was disappointed in the interview by Chris Wallace of Gibbs (don't remember his first name) earlier this week.

CW has, in the past, thrown some hardball questions at his interviewees, but this one with Gibbs made me feel I was watching CNN or MSNBC or such.

Don't watch him regularly, but the last Rep that I saw him interview was cornered till he (the Rep) answered the asked question.

Gibbs was cut a lot of slack in this depart.

IMO if a person only watches on news channel he/she wouldn't be getting a balanced view at all and will not learn enough about an issue to form an educated opinion. Sadly a person has to try and view, and read many sources in order to try and get enough of the facts about an issue. It is something that a person actually has to put some effort into working at. It shouldn't be this way but it is, and if someone just watches on channel for a couple of hours here and there it is lacking.
