I am a Pre-trib Dispensationalist and would appreciate if some one could reccomend a discussion form composed of believers with similar views on Eschatology. Thanks and God bless you.

But it's the truth. That's the one thing the pre-mils ARE up on. Current events!

That's as big a falsehood as "Calvinists don't care about evangelism because God will save whoever He has chosen." Both statements are both false.

No, Grasshopper is unable to resist a good put down when the opportunity presents itself. It's the price he pays for being superior to the rest of us.

    I will rephrase:

But it's the truth that pre-mils stay on top of current events. They feed on the sensationalism of speculating fulfillment of Bible prophecy from the news.

As far as the Calvinism/evangelism remark; I don't know why that was thrown in there.

It was thrown in to show the error of your continued mis-conception that pre-mills are scouring the headlines for the next point in our eschatology. You don't like to be the butt of wrong assumptions and we don't either.

I'm a pre-mill, pre-trib and haven't based any of it on what the Wall Street Journal or Jack Van Impe or any of the left behind writers have said.

I look to Jesus' return and keep trying to be obedient until that moment comes... just like you do.

Thanks Tom. I don't understand the necessity to label all of us who believe that way of being newspaper theologians.

I could have penned your exact words here. Thanks again.

Same here. And just because someone doesn't agree with me about this doesn't mean that I start calling them out and make some false assumptions.

You know what happens when we "assume"...

Some of you should actually go to the Forum and READ IT!

Breaking news and events from Israel and the Middle East. The Coming War of Gog and Magog. Ezekiel 38 through 39 tells of a future invasion of Israel by a vast coalition of nations that surround it. As we read the headlines in the newspapers, and witness the conflict in the Middle East, it's not hard to imagine that this invasion prophesied over 2600 years ago, could be fulfilled in our lifetime.

Forum: The One World Government System
This is not a forum for conspiracy theories, this is a place for news, articles, and commentaries regarding the UN/EU, and the emerging One World Government revealing end times events. Matthew 24; Romans 8:22 Conspiracy threads will be deleted.

I stand by my statement. Newspaper exegisis at its best.

That's not the same thing as calling it newspaper exegesis, and you know it. It was sarcastic.

This is not representative of pre-mils. These are probably people like Van Impe. This is not the norm at all. No one I know who is pre-mil is like this.
