Try the library or Google. And don't ask other people to do your homework.

What school - is it college? I saw your age on your profile. Is it a secular or Christian school?

    Can you use Christian sources?

I think that was a rude comment personally.

I am trying to avoid getting resources from a yahoo or google that are poor, hence why I am looking for reliable sources from my Christian brothers and sisters. These sources can be found on yahoo or google by the way, I just want to avoid nut job theories as false information :)

A Christian College. I was hoping to use a couple reliable Christian sources and a couple reliable atheistic resources to put together a general informative speech. I am just not up to speed on who are some good general info teachers from both sides.

Sorry, but I work at a college (non-Christian) and I get fed up with lazy students.

I am probably guilty for being lazy at times, but my intentions aren't to get anyone to do my homework :) with this post.

If you go to a Christian College you should have access to vast data bases

My thoughts exactly. I graduated from college pre-computer and word processors when "high-Tech" meant having an IBM electric typewriter and it irks me to have today's college kids whine about how "hard" having to do research on a computer is.

zrs6v4, forgive me but it is a burr under my saddle. Just take it as the ramblings of a cranky (and jealous, perhaps) old man. I applaud you for being willing to crack books. God bless.

I am guessing you are limited to only a certain number of internet sources? I know I am in my seminary papers.

I know of a secular book, "Evolution: A Theory in Crisis" by Michael Denton, but it's more anti-evolution than anything about God creating the world. I think the author is atheist/agnostic. My son read this book for a debate and won the debate in 8th grade (it's a hard book, however).

There's also Michael Behe's "Darwin's Black Box." Behe is Catholic, I think.

I just finished my degree back in May of 09...and let me give you a stellar
    piece of research advice:

DON'T USE WIKIPEDIA - it is not a scholarly source and my profs didn't accept it - and yet some students continued to quote it and wondered why their grades weren't as good as others!!

Liberty Online Library allowed students to access all sorts of scholarly resources at no additional cost. I have tried to access some of those resources since graduating, and now I know how valuable they are and
how much they cost for "civilian" access!

Ugh, he asked for a reliable source.

Look at Hebrews 11:3 and search google books for some up-to-date commentaries.

 Man Mitch, you are developing into quite the comedian. Where's your next stand up gig...I want to come see it. I can always use a good laugh.

And be sure to tip your waitstaff, folks.
