If you drink tea, what is your favorite?

This poll is only for tea - herbal drinks such as chamomille are not teas, they are infusions. Teas come from tea leaves.

You can choose more than one answer!

If you don't drink tea, go to another poll! :wavey:

Cold - green tea with ginseng and honey or peach flavored tea.
hot - earl grey or black tea flavored with raspberry or some type of mint.

    Hot tea?!?!?

    What on earth...wait; never mind.

I thought this was the Baptist-only section.

Had that been the case, anything other than sweetened iced tea (we might allow artificial sweeteners for you deathly ill people) would be akin to heresy.

We had a band down here from the "frozen tundra" of a northern state at our DiscipleNow weekend. They referred to our sweet tea as "liquid crack."

Probably not very edifying, but doggone accurate.

Hot tea. My favourite is Lyons Green Label which is a combination of black and orange pekoe from teas grown in Central Africa. I like a few other blends and brands, but this is my favourite.

Whittards' of Chelsea 1886 Traditional Blend is also very nice, but is a bit strong for most tastes.

I find that I slightly favour African Teas over Indian or Chinese teas.

Nothing fancy, just a nice cuppa with a drop of milk.

I have taken to drinking about a litre and a half of tea a day as I can drink it with no milk or sweetner. This is good.

I boil up the billy at breakfast, make a cup of coffee, and the rest of the water goes into a tannin stained jug with a regular teabag. After a minute or two, out comes the old bag and the jug sits on the bench. I do not chill it. It is drunk from by the tumbler full...again a hideous tannin stained glass used soley by me for the tea.

Sometimes a leaf of mint goes in, or a slice of lemon.

Hot tea - nothing in it. I like some kind of mint, but I'll drink lots of varieties.

Cold and sweet. Down here restaurants live and die by their sweet tea.

I have to admit until 1995 my answer would have been the same as JMSR's :)

Hot strong black tea from England. Right now the best I can get is the Tetlea British Blend but my friend is going to England and will stock me up once again on good tea! :) I can't wait. I like it with a little skim milk and sugar.

In the summer I like iced tea but freshly brewed with just a little sugar. Definitely not sweet tea. That's way too sweet.

Not a bad tea if you are stuck over there.

What British tea do you like. When I am over there I like Punjana or PJ Tips.

All pale in comparison to the Irish teas though :)

When I first arrived here in 95 it was impossible to get a good cup of coffee. I truly learned to enjoy a nice cuppa and have had it with government officials and homeless folks on the street. It is a major part of the Irish culture.

We can get good coffee now, really good stuff, and I enjoy a cup now and then.

I will admit that my allegiance had changed though. First thing I do in the morning is make myself a strong cuppa, my drop of milk is just enough to take a little of the bite off.

We love Yorkshire Gold. So wonderful. One daughter usually adds a touch of milk.

Prefer green tea and will have some most afternoons. Trying to cut back on the coffee later in the day.

Regarding iced tea, we don't have much of that down here. You have to go north to get to the south. Then you can find some -- preferably in a good BBQ joint. Still love it -- like drinking sugar water.
