    Just curious, why would the Reverands feel the need to begin a new denomination? And why was there a need for any "Great Revivial of 1800'? And...sorry for the questions, but how would you think that Christianity got to such a point were a "Great Revival" was even needed?

    My grandfather was a Cumberland Presbyterian in Arkansas. He truly loved his church and it's leaders. I think the church has closed down now.
