If Obama is supposed to be the "smartest man" ever elected (per Bill Maher on the Jay Leno Show - 2/5/10), a true Ideologue, than how did the "anointed one" blow this one? :tear:

I'll tell you how, and you heard it hear first!!! He blew it because he has NO military experience, nor does he have a working knowledge or understanding of the military that stands ready to protect and serve this Great Nation. And, in simple truth, it appears to me, that Obama doesn't care to take the time to learn anything about those he is Commander in Chief of.

So, on behalf of the Americans that you men and women proudly serve, and protect, I sincerely apologize for this Presidents ignorance of the job you do. :wavey:

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

Amen and amen. I guess this is just more of the "change" we were told to expect.

    OKAY, My Bad!

I'm referring to the speech Obama gave the other day where he referred to a Navy Corpsman in Haiti, three times. All three times he pronounced the word as it read: "corps - man" instead of the suggested dictionary pronunciation: Pronunciation: \ ˈkȯr(z)-mən \.

Had he known the title of the official position he surely would have known how it was pronounced. It sounded like he was calling the sailor a "corpse-man!" And that was as embarrassing as any gaffe Bush ever made...

He could have asked the lowliest private in the Marine Corps. All of them could have told him how to shout it out if he was wounded.

But he wouldn't know that, would he?

But then, surely he knows how to pronounce Marine Corps? Same word with a man on the end of it. Not Corpseman.

Sometimes the idiocy of this supposedly "smart" man just blows me away.

It was much worse but, remember, he didn't have a chance to learn about those things in Chicago.
